Fear in the Night, Faith in God.
Have you ever wondered why nightmares suddenly come out of nowhere? Recently, I’ve been experiencing nightmares again, and honestly, I don’t even know why. For so many years, I rarely experienced this, and now it suddenly happens again. I noticed that sometimes it happens on the days when I forget to open my Bible, or when I forget to play my usual Christian music before going to sleep. It makes me reflect on how important it is to keep our minds and hearts connected to God, especially before we rest. Of course, nightmares can also happen because of stress, anxiety, fear, or things our minds process while we sleep. We may not always know the reason behind them. And sometimes, no matter how strong our faith is, we cannot change the fact that we get scared. We are only human beings. We can pray, trust God, and still feel afraid. Being scared doesn’t mean that our faith is weak. What matters is where we turn when we are afraid. So whenever a nightmare wakes us up, let’s pray instead of allowing fear to control us. 🙏🏻 “When I am afraid, I put my trust in You.” — Psalm 56:3

While We Are Busy Building Our Lives, Let’s Not Forget to Live
Our distant uncle has an only child a sweet young woman who is studying Psychology and is expected to graduate next year. You know how life in the Philippines can be. Sometimes, you have to work incredibly hard just to survive and achieve your dreams. Her father has maintenance medication to take, and without them knowing, this sweet girl was working part-time while studying so she could also help provide for her own education. She was only around 22 years old, if I remember correctly. Then, one day, her body suddenly gave up. It happened in the blink of an eye. What seemed like an ordinary life suddenly changed when she was diagnosed with leukemia a heartbreaking and relentless disease. She fought so hard for her life, holding on and hoping for more time in this world. But eventually, her body could no longer fight, and God called her home. Her story reminded me so much of a very good friend of mine whom I also lost to leukemia. I remember how hard she fought just to stay alive, just to have more time in this world. She fought with everything she had, and watching someone fight so desperately for another day makes you realize how precious life truly is. Sometimes, we become so busy working, earning money, achieving our goals, and planning for the future that we forget the most important thing we are alive today. Life is fragile and unpredictable. We can make plans, work hard, chase our dreams, and worry about tomorrow, but none of us truly knows when our last breath will be. We cannot question God about what will happen or when our journey will end. BUT This is a reminder to all of us, It is good to work hard. It is good to have dreams and goals. But please remember to rest, take care of your body, and appreciate the life you have today. We only have one life, and despite all the struggles, disappointments, and hardships we experience, life is still a beautiful gift. Health is wealth. Take care of yourself. Spend time with the people you love. Rest when you need to. Appreciate the little things. And never take another day for granted.
🤖 A Tool Worth Having: ChatGPT
If you haven't tried ChatGPT yet, give it a shot. I use it to learn, organize my thoughts, research topics, work on projects, solve everyday problems and sometimes just get a different perspective. It doesn't replace your own judgment — and yes, it can be wrong. Always think for yourself and verify important information. But used properly, it's an incredibly powerful tool to have at your side. Learn. Question. Verify. Grow. 🙏 Try it and see what you can build with it. 🤝

TRUEEEE! I use it mostly to learn new things and organize my thoughts. It’s like having an extra brain beside you but you still have to think for yourself. 😂
Kindness and boundaries
How far should our kindness go? At what point should we stop tolerating someone who repeatedly takes advantage of our understanding and forgiveness? how do we balance forgiveness with setting healthy boundaries? And why is it that, even when someone has taken advantage of us repeatedly, we still feel pity and compassion for them even when we ourselves are struggling? Is that compassion a reflection of God’s love, or is there a point where we need to learn to protect ourselves too?
Why are we never truly content?
I’ve always wondered why some people struggle to feel content with what they have, even when they already have enough. What makes us always want more?

@Easy Squeezy Yes, I think you’re right. But Sometimes we’re not content because we compare ourselves to others, and that comparison starts from within us. We begin to desire more and more and become attached to worldly things, and sometimes we forget to be thankful for what we already have. Our hearts keep searching for something to fill the emptiness, when perhaps what we’re really looking for is contentment.🙂

@Easy Squeezy indeed! I think wanting what we don’t have is really part of being human hehe. And I think social media makes it even harder because we only see what people choose to show. Sometimes we forget that we are also probably someone else’s i wish I had that too without even knowing it. 😅🙃 Maybe that’s why they’re part of human nature that we need to be aware of and constantly learn how to handle and fight against. 🙃 BUT it’s hard to resist sometimes . lol
