Hi all, My wife Dominique and I are new to the group and new to STRs in general. I'd heard there are several other Smoky Mtns investors here, so I'm curious if anyone has a cleaning service and/or handyman that they would recommend? We live in California, so we're hoping to find some very trustworthy "boots on the ground" people or services that could help us keep our investment in great shape between our in-person visits and respond to guests' needs. Im trying to qualify for the STR tax loophole 100+ and more than anyone else. My cleaner does all her billing through a company name. When making sure I participate more than her, am I chasing the one actually doing the cleaning or everyone within that company? Different people do the cleanings, however all the charges are through the same company name. TIA

Is it too late to consider adding a property for tax year 2026 if we haven't started the search yet?
