Finger Strength
I’ve ran into a road block in my training. I need to play a chord that involves my pinky finger. Unfortunately, I haven’t used my pinky at all and have zero calluses. I tried using it but it hurts pretty bad. Any tips? I’m gonna do 10-20sec holds with my pinky on each string but man it hurts a lot.

@Abraham Tadesse I currently use an electric guitar! It doesn’t have nylon strings though, I’ll look into getting some nylon strings and getting it set up since I only use it for practice. Thank you for the tip!

I’ve had my guitar for 2.5 years but never truly focused on practicing. I’m changing that this year!

@Tracey Elle I made a schedule. I’m really good about sticking with a good schedule I just have to start it lol. I’m on day 9, I’ve been giving myself 2 days off and I take them whenever since my schedule won’t budge. Using social media to hold myself accountable is also super helpful

Amp Problems
Anyone know how to fix this sound coming from my amp? She was thrifted so I assume it’s because of that. Does anyone know a quick tip to fix till I can get a new better one? I already turned the aux cord around, and cleaned it. I tightened my capo and tuned my guitar. I also lowered bass, gain, and treble, but the sound persists. It only occurs when I pick the 3rd string, not sure why only that one. Any tips will be appreciated.
