🎮 Gamification in action - want to experience it yourself?
Last time I joined one of the most fun and engaging community experiments I've seen on Skool. Our fellow Navigator @Lidia Axe is running another Community Crawl this weekend - this time focused on men's communities. And it's a great example of something I've been thinking about a lot lately: 👉 people don't just like to consume content they like to play A simple challenge... A clear next step... A bit of curiosity... A reward at the end... Suddenly people are commenting, exploring communities, meeting new people, and actually taking action instead of just scrolling. That's exactly why I believe gamification has huge potential - not just for engagement, but for building stronger communities and better businesses. Even better, several familiar faces from OBB1 are hosting stops in the crawl, including @Maurice Chism and @Andrew Kendall 🙌 If you're curious, jump in, have some fun, and pay attention to how the experience is designed as much as the communities themselves 👇 https://www.skool.com/skool-100/welcome-to-the-community-crawl-male-edition?p=1d53307b I guarantee you'll come away with at least one idea you can borrow for your own group. 🧭

👋 If you decide to join, don't just complete the crawl - study it. Notice how the small tasks, progression, and interaction keep people moving. There are some clever community-building lessons hidden in plain sight. 🎮 🧭 @Kristof Lambregts @William H @AP Wilcox @Rudolf Van Loggerenberg @Rori Heffes-Doon @Elliott Rashed @Omar Negron @Mark Houde @Sam S @Ross Gilman @Channing Mack @Eric Juarez @Chris Tangredi @Tommy Gan @Pankaj Lakhani @Tyler Watson @Nyheim Cohen @Carlos Reyes @Stephen Boutelle @Rob Reid @Theodore Lanham @Othmane Boumzebra @Ray Burton

☀️ What small win are you celebrating today?
Not every win has to be life-changing. Sometimes it's: - finishing a task you've been putting off - getting a kind message from a client - sticking to your plan - showing up when you didn't feel like it - or simply making one step forward Those little moments add up. They build confidence. They create momentum. And often they lead to much bigger things. So what's one small win you're celebrating today? Tell us 👇

@William H that’s a meaningful step, William. 🙌 You’re not just adding a paid tier - you’re thinking about how to create more value through Q&A and consultations too. you’re building it with intention, not just adding another product. Keep us posted on how it goes! 🚀
🇭🇷 Croatia? I hear it’s beautiful 😄
as someone from Croatia… I had to smile watching the new John Malkovich tourism video :) especially the part about "propuh"... the mysterious draft that every Croatian grandma is convinced will make you sick 😂 and honestly… they captured something real. yes, the coastline is beautiful. but what keeps people coming back is something harder to explain: the slow coffees. the tiny villages. the food that somehow tastes better when it's shared. the feeling that nobody is in quite as much of a hurry. I was born here, and after all these years I still catch myself appreciating it. sometimes we travel halfway around the world looking for peace… only to realize it was an hour's drive away all along ❤️ have you ever visited Croatia? 🧭

@Zdravka Kambourova ah, Hvar is beautiful too! 😊 We actually spent several summer vacations there when our kids were little. My wife is from southern Dalmatia, so we've been lucky to explore many of the islands along that coast over the years. And thanks to sailing, I've visited almost all of them. Each one has its own charm ❤️ and just to continue my completely unbiased Croatian tourism campaign in this thread... 😄 here's a short video to bring back some of your Hvar memories! 🇭🇷 🌊 🍷

Something to think about today: “Be careful how you are talking to yourself because you are listening.” We spend a lot of time managing projects, teams, and tasks. But we often forget to manage the conversation happening in our own heads. The story you repeat to yourself shapes the actions you take. If it's: “I’m behind.” “I’m not ready.” “I’ll never figure this out.” …that becomes a heavy backpack to carry. Try replacing it with something more useful: “I’m learning.” “I’m making progress.” “I only need to take the next step.” Example: Today I’m reminding myself that building systems takes time, and steady progress beats rushing. @Virginia Schobel that’s actually a great sign ❤️ If the content side is now strong, you’ve already handled the hardest part: clarity. The visuals can come next. And honestly, that’s the right order. A pretty About Page with unclear copy still leaks people. But clear copy with simple visuals can already do a lot of work. For the next pass, I’d focus on visuals that support the message, not just decorate the page: one image for the main promise one simple visual for the journey/process one proof/credibility visual maybe one classroom or “what’s inside” screenshot That should help your page feel more real, more trustworthy, and easier to understand fast. Nice progress - this is exactly why I like using the audit in build mode 🧭

🤖 What Do You Refuse to Do in Your Business?
We spend a lot of time talking about goals. But sometimes the strongest positioning comes from the things you won’t do. The shortcuts you reject. The clients you won’t chase. The tactics you refuse to use. Those boundaries often reveal your values better than any mission statement. Try this prompt: 👉 “Based on what you know about me, what do I consistently refuse to do in my business - and what does that say about my values?” The answer might surprise you. How to use this: 1️⃣ Open ChatGPT or any other LLM you use (free versions work) 2️⃣ Paste the prompt 3️⃣ Share the result — if you dare 😉 (good, bad, or surprisingly accurate) You can also do this without AI. Just ask yourself: “What am I unwilling to compromise on?” It still works. It’s still valuable. Here’s mine below 👇 Drop your line in the comments 🧭

@Zdravka Kambourova I think the line that says the most is: “You refuse to be just another supplier.” That’s a positioning decision as much as a business one. The moment you move from simply executing tasks to helping clients build repeatable systems, the conversation changes completely. And I really like the closing thought too: “A company should not have to become less human in order to grow.” That’s a principle worth building a brand around. 👏

@Rose Colbourne I actually think there’s a lot of wisdom in that. One of the hardest things in business is knowing what not to offer. Just because you can learn something doesn’t mean you have to teach it. Sometimes the best way to serve people is to stay in your zone of genius and confidently refer out the rest. That kind of clarity builds trust too.
