If Bitcoin were an animal, what would it be?
Time to have some fun before heading into the weekend. Today's challenge is to identify Bitcoin's spirit animal so that we can channel it here in First Step Bitcoin. If Bitcoin were an animal, what would it be and why?

Eagle Soars above the noise. Sees the whole landscape while others are stuck in the weeds. Patient hunter - waits for the right moment, then strikes with precision. And it never asks permission to fly.
What inspires you about bitcoin?
When I first learned about, bitcoin, I didn’t see it as a way to build wealth I was excited and inspired by it, because it was a way to beat inflation It was strong money that couldn’t be corrupted or hijacked for other people selfish purposes Now bitcoin inspires me more than anything else because it’s going to bring wealth to so many people who never had any tools available to them for building wealth What inspires you most about bitcoin?

@AP Wilcox what inspires me most is the freedom it represents - today same as 16 years ago when I first heard about it. Freedom from a corrupted financial system that's rigged against regular people. Freedom from central banks that print money whenever it suits them, silently stealing our purchasing power. Bitcoin gives us back control - decentralized, limited supply, transparent, and secure. No one can manipulate it. No government can devalue it overnight. No bank can freeze it. It's not just about building wealth - it's about protecting what you've already built from a broken system that's designed to drain it slowly.

What’s the biggest roadblock for beginners in Bitcoin?
Are you thinking of buying bitcoin for the first time? What’s keeping you from taking action? What do you worry about? Or maybe you’ve already bought bitcoin, but it took you a while to finally pull the trigger for the first time What was the obstacle in your way? Why didn’t you buy bitcoin sooner?

My biggest roadblock was honestly just understanding how to actually buy Bitcoin 🤔 Back in 2017 (second attempt after checking it out in 2011), my country didn't make it easy to purchase. No local exchanges, no real options. So I had to get creative—ended up having a friend in Singapore grab it for me. The lesson? Sometimes the biggest obstacle isn't the strategy, it's just access and taking action. What was your biggest hurdle with your first Bitcoin purchase? 👇

@AP Wilcox that's the real challenge for most people - not the technical stuff, but making the decision and taking action. we all have that moment of "should I or shouldn't I?" Even when access is easy, the mental hurdle can be the hardest part. What finally pushed you to pull the trigger? 🧭
