MY STORY and my last painting
I was raised in France with two brothers. I was the oldest and became the game leader. My parents were atheists. I wanted spirituality, but with them, everything seemed restrictive, and the usual punishments were dished out regularly.
School for me was just torture. My grandmother was the school headmaster, and some teachers wanted me to pay for her mistakes. They would place me far into the back of the classroom so I could not hear or see properly. There were 30 students per classroom. That was a lot. To beautify things, I started writing poetry at 9. That was a nice distraction. Then, around 12 years old, my art abilities showed up, and my art teacher loved what I produced. I therefore asked my parents to transfer me to an art school, but it took them years to do it. I finally entered ‘Ecole Supérieur Des Arts Décoratifs’ in Paris. Then I entered the Beaux-Arts de Paris. I spent 4 years there and went to Italy to further my studies, and later on, I went to an Indian school to learn transcendental proportions of Gods and Goddesses. While I was still in Paris, I frequented the American Center, where I met an actor who took me to Canada. I stayed 3 years in Montreal. I returned to Paris in 1972, where I met my guru. Previously at 16, I had an epiphany. I was practicing automatic writing. It is a psychic ability where a person produces written words without conscious intention, often attributed to spirits, the subconscious mind, or the higher self. That day, I wrote about my past life and my actual goal in life. I kept that poem for years. Anyway, it took all those years from 16 to 22 to actually act in accordance with my life goals. But I was allowed to keep my past life practice and to continue in this life. I therefore practiced Bhakti from the age of 23 seriously and without fail. I met some interesting people, including some empaths who were giving their lives to others. Not only that, but I met some mystics and went to mystical places. I found the time to marry and have 3 children. I homeschooled all the way to university. Having a French accent made my teaching reading to my kids difficult. I must admit the first child did not read fluently until 7, but I kept on learning and going to seminars, and my second one was reading at 3. I also learned that every child is different and has a different way to learn. Some learn better on their own, and some need friends. Some want to keep on studying, and some want other subjects such as spirituality… Anyway, I taught them French and taught them art, my two best subjects. My idea with homeschooling was also the idea of being close to my kids, and until today, I am close to all 3. They are all very different, but I am proud of all 3.
