Weekly Discussion #28 - Do you have abilities?

This week I would like to discuss psychic and energetic abilities, specifically if YOU have them? It is said that everyone is born with psychic abilities but some people are able to retain those abilities more than others. Through specific training, such as meditation and energy work, it is said you can tap into that energy again. Most people who explore psychic development feel one or two dominate abilities, rather than having all of them. There are many types of abilities, though there are 4 that are most common: - Clairvoyance – clear seeing - Clairaudience – clear hearing - Clairsentience – clear feeling - Claircognizance – clear knowing Others include: - Clairgustance – Clear Tasting - Clairtangency (Psychometry) – Clear Touch - Clairpathy – Clear Emotional Communication - Telepathy Of course, mediumship and people who are energetically sensitive (empaths) fit into this as well because of the overlap between psychic perception and emotional intelligence. Are there any abilities that you know you have or any that you think you might have? If so, what are some of your experiences related to your abilities?

Does anyone have any good books they've read in relation to developing your intuition etc. I'm sure there is a wide range of vidoes etc on youtube.. However I think I'd prefer to read about it, plus hear about personal expereinces.

👻 Real Paranormal Experiences

Weekend away 2015

Okay, so I will share an experience I had when my ex partner and I went to blue mountains in NSW, for a weekend getaway. I tired googling to see if I could find the place on Google, but had no luck as I don't recall the name of the place.This was about 10 years ago now. We arrived there in the afternoon around 2ish. I can remember we had taken our belongings into the cottage and then I had started taking photos of the place to send to my stepmum. I sent the photos to her and then focused on being there. Fast forward a few hours and it was night time, we had had dinner and my partner had fallen asleep early. So I was kinda just laying there doing my own thing.. Anyways I had turned off most of the lights and had kept on the light in the bathroom that was adjacent to the bed.. At the time I felt super uncomfortable and felt like something was standing right next to the bed. I also got the sense this thing did not like me at all and that I was being watched constantly. It took me hours to get to sleep that night.. The next day I decided to go through the photos I had taken to send to my step mum, and there was a photo I had taken of the loungeroom which had a fireplace in it. I looked at this photo and then saw that there was a woman's face (she did not look happy) just looking directly at the camera in the fire mantle. I checked the next photo. The same face was in the fireplace mantle and it had not moved. If I was to describe her, she was brunette and her hair up, my guess, early 1900s. I asked my partner if she had experienced anything and she said she had slept like a baby. I told her about my experience and showed her the photos. She believed me as she was open to this.. What's really disappointing is that I did not save my photos from that phone. So, I can’t even prove it to you. :/ This I would say was the start of me beginning to experience paranormal things, I always believed that being with that ex partner sparked something.

Intro Post Questions: 1. Where are you from? (Bonus: Is your area known for any hauntings or legends?) Kingston Ontario Canada. And yes Kingston is known for hauntings. The city is very much historical city. We have known hauntings in Fort Henry, the old Kingston Penitentiary, the old Rockwood Insane Asylum along with many other sites in the city. 2. What sparked your interest in the paranormal? I’ve always been interested in the paranormal ever since I was a child. So I don’t entirely know what sparked it since it was so long ago 3. What kind of paranormal topics are you most interested in? Ghost, Hauntings, Psychic Phenomena, Reincarnation, Time slips etc. 4. Do you have any experience with ghost hunting, or are you just getting started? I’ll go with just getting started. Though I did go and explore the old Insane Asylum over a decade ago with friends. 5. What's one place you'd love to investigate and why? Waverly Hill Sanatorium cuz I’ve seen the posts on Facebook about things people say they have heard or experienced there. And think it would be an interesting place to checkout
