Faith in Action
A great question Kalif. Can we truly say we have faith if nothing about our lives ever changes? It depends on what or who you have faith in? If you have faith in me but I always let you down or disappoint you, then eventually You will stop having faith in me. But, if you have faith in our Creator, the Almighty God, there will be changes in your life. There are some things that we must do ourselves. "Faith without works is dead". James 2. If we do our part in life, God will always reward us for our faith and being willing to wait for manifestation of what we are waiting for. Many times, we are not willing to wait for the changes needed in our lives. Faith is Action and Waiting!

Kalif, what you said is so important because mental roadblocks often grow stronger through isolation, overthinking, fear, discouragement, or feeling a loss of purpose. When you serve others, your focus shifts from "What am I struggling with" to How can I make a difference?"

@Akeem Miller Yes, absolutely! Adam given authority doesn't mean his character had been proven. Adam was given boundaries which created the opportunity for Adam to demarcate his obedience, trust, and loyalty to God. Lesson to be learned!! You can be given authority before your character is fully developed, but the preservation of that authority will require character. Good job Akeem!

@Kailif Williams Yes Sir Kalif! Gift can open the door. Authority can give you the position. But character determines how you handle what has been entrusted to you. Serving exposes, tests, and develops what is inside a person. Servanthood will develop the character necessary to carry authority.

What mental roadblocks can prevent someone from being consistently disciplined? How can a person overcome those obstacles to achieve greater clarity and consistency?

Excellent question Akeem. First, consistent discipline is often hindered by internal roadblocks rather than external circumstances. Example, Fear of failure, Lack of focus, Undisciplined emotions, and Complacency can all be mental roadblocks that could prevent a person from being discipline. I believe these obstacles can be overcome by developing self-leadership such as; consistent beneficial habits, surround yourself with wise mentors who will bring you accountability, and renew your mind through God's Word and prayer.
