Before you do anything else: • Pray in the Spirit for a few minutes however long you can • If you don’t pray in tongues, simply sit quietly with God • Let yourself slow down and become aware of His presence Then, meditate on this verse: For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38–39 (KJV) As you sit with this, just notice: • What stands out to you? • What does this show you about God’s love for you? • Does anything shift or settle inside you?
