Why I built this community I've spent years working across UK rail operations and fleet management, the stuff you don't see from the platform, and definitely not the stuff careers pages tell you. I'm not here as some rail careers "expert." I'm just someone who's been in it long enough to know what actually helps and what's a waste of your time. This community is for anyone who wants to break into rail, move up once they're in, or just avoid some of the mistakes I made along the way β the roles I chased for the wrong reasons, the places I applied to without really knowing what I was walking into, the routes I didn't realise led somewhere better. If I could go back and do it again, there's a fair bit I'd do differently, and that's really what this is about. This is free while I build this up properly. Just real, practical info from someone who's actually been on the inside. Drop me a comment with your current struggles and whats happening with you right now π
