Season's greetings
Hi everyone. I've been an inconsistent member of the group. Active and then I disappear .... to hospital. It's been a challenging year and I'm hoping surgery in the new year will resolve my problems. I plan to be present and active following that recovery. I wish you all the best for your holiday celebration and many good wishes for the coming year. Kind regards Nanette

After 8 months of thinking of doing YT- I finally published
OK, folks, that was scary. Just published my first video as I type this (and have another 4 in the pipeline). It sucks....but I'll get better..... Editing is a NIGHTMARE. I hired someone to do mine, and after the first 2 he quit because he didn't have the time for it.....so, the first 2 I'm going to post are done by him- and the rest by me, and it shows.... LOL. If anyone has a decent editor for simple editing (I'm a talking head educational You tuber) they can recommend, please pass the info on!

Thumbnails??
Does everyone think these are essential? I’m trying to get my head around doing videos and feel a bit overwhelmed when I think about thumbnails as well. Really - what are their benefits?

Aaarghh I feel as though life is conspiring against me atm. We have moved into a new apartment which is wonderful with my own space for my online work - but is a mess atm. And… I’ve had 4 trips to hospital since April - recurring infection. And long term health challenges. I’m now in hospital again with surgery upcoming. Why am I sharing this? I just can’t find a clear space or time to get started. So I’m reviewing all of Alexa’s videos, learning as much as I can but I don’t want this to become an avoidance thing. Hanging in there ☺️
