What kind of bookkeeping advice do you have for handmade business owners (knitters/crocheters) who are buying materials + keeping in stock and have finished items?
@Jeannie Guzman My CPA says I need to track materials + finished items inventory - because well, it's money sitting on the shelf (so to speak). She also said something about some sort of "matching principal" and not recording cost to make until the item is sold???? Above my brain capacity!
@Jeannie Guzman Just a resource (hopefully in simple English that doesn't make my eyes glaze over) would be fine. I don't know if I really "need" you to go to the bother of setting up a spreadsheet.
