TONIGHT'S LIVE | How to Pitch Brands to be PAID ✨
Hey y'all! Looking forward to chatting on our LIVE Session tonight! I As I mentioned before, I will be out on a brand trip from Feb 28-March 6th, so I really wanted to make sure we got a session in this week. We're technically supposed to be talking about Content Strategy, but I feel like most of y'all have a good understanding of content and I really want you guys to start pitching as we are starting to get in peak season, so tonight we'll be talking "How to Pitch Brands to be PAID." Once I'm back we'll revisit Content Strategy to make sure everyone's content is on point with curating content that connects with your community and ultimately leads to being paid. Loved catching up with y'all and deep diving into Q&A and guiding through some of y'alls brand deal negotiations. Basically, my takeaway is y'all are TAKING IT in 2026 and I'm excited to see it! With that said, I want you to share your goal/happy income number for 2026: - What did you make as a creator in 2025? - What is your goal/happy revenue number as a creator in 2026? - What would you do with that money? How would it change your life? Can't wait to read your goals and more excited to see you put the work in to look back at these responses in 2027 - LET'S GET ITTTTT!

@Emmy Petit here are my answers: * What did you make as a creator in 2025? In 2025, I made roughly $800 as a creator. * What is your goal/happy revenue number as a creator in 2026? My happy revenue goal for 2026 is to significantly exceed what I currently make in my corporate career — ideally tripling it - so roughly $300K- I want my creative work to be my primary source of income, not a side experiment, and to build something that is both profitable and sustainable long-term. * What would you do with that money? How would it change your life? That level of income would allow me to step away from corporate work and fully commit to content creation while taking better care of myself and my family. Practically, it would mean hiring support — childcare, cleaning help, and meal prep — so I can create from a place of peace instead of burnout while still showing up as a wife and a mom. It would also allow me to pay off debt, invest in real estate and other long-term assets, and intentionally plan for my daughter’s future, including education. I’d love to take my entire family on a meaningful trip as well. Beyond stability, this income would give me the freedom to reset financially, make wiser decisions moving forward, and eventually invest back into others — particularly supporting up-and-coming designers in Nigeria and helping build sustainable businesses.

QUICK UPDATE
Hey y'all! I hope those of y'all who are expecting the storm are prepared and doing well! I just wanted to give an update on our rescheduled live and what's upcoming. Originally, I thought to reschedule our live for today, buutttt I am wrapping up the "Influence to Income" course I told you guys about and want to have it to you all this week! As promised, being that you guys are the BETA testers for this community and joined from that unplanned live, I am gifting the course to you for free (only y'all in here, which is why I have not made this community accessible to anybody else yet.) Y'ALL SPECIAL, hehe! The focus for this week will be for you all to go through the full course and then we will resume lives bi-weekly first week of February, so that everybody has the foundation down and we can dive deeper in our live sessions. You guys should continue to share questions and wins in the group throughout as I am constantly checking and answering! Hope y'all have a great rest of your weekend!
