🔎 THE BALD TRUTH: Alopecia does not automatically mean bald.
Aloha and happy Friday, Empresses! Before we close out the week, I want to leave you with a little Alopecia Education Friday because sometimes the simplest facts can change the way we understand our own experiences and someone else’s. Alopecia simply means hair loss, and it can show up very differently from one woman to another. For some, it may look like thinning or changes in density. For others, it may mean patches, a receding hairline, loss in certain areas, or complete hair loss. Some women may experience regrowth. Others may continue navigating changes over time. That is why I want us to be careful about assuming we know someone’s alopecia story just by looking at her. The woman wearing a wig has an alopecia story. The woman with thinning edges has one. The woman wearing a wrap has one. The woman with patches has one. And yes, the bald woman has one too. Different hair journeys. Different choices. Same right to be seen and respected. 💬 Friday Squad Question: What is ONE thing you wish more people understood about alopecia or hair loss? Drop it below. Let’s teach each other something before we head into the weekend. 🦚 ❦ Education creates awareness. Understanding changes how we treat people.

🎭 THE BALD TRUTH | I’M RETIRING THAT ROLE
Empresses, yesterday we turned our lives into movies and gave our stories a title. 😂🎬 But you know what got me thinking? Every movie has characters, and sometimes we get REALLY good at playing a role that no longer fits us. The strong one who never asks for help. The easygoing one who says, “It’s fine,” when it absolutely is NOT fine. 😂 The woman who keeps everybody comfortable. The one who shrinks so nobody thinks she’s doing too much. The one who pretends she doesn’t care what people think. The one who keeps showing up as an older version of herself because everybody around her already knows the script. Whew. And sometimes we’ve played the role for so long that people expect the performance even after we’re tired of auditioning for it. So tonight, I have ONE question: 🎭 What role are you officially RETIRING? You don’t have to give us the backstory. Just name the role. Mine might be: The woman who thinks she has to explain every decision before she’s allowed to make it. 👀😂 Because babyyyy, some roles deserve a retirement party, a gold watch, and absolutely NO reunion special. 😂 Drop yours below. Then if another Empress names a role you recognize, let her know she’s not the only one who has worn that costume. ❦ You can appreciate who you had to be without requiring her to play every scene of your future. Different Journeys. One Mission. Unstoppable Together. 🦚

🎬 WEDNESDAY SQUAD PREMIERE | Name Your Story
Aloha and happy Wednesday, Empresses! Yesterday, we talked about listening to our own voice. Today, we’re going to use it and have a little FUN! 😂🎬 Imagine your life right now is a movie. Hair loss may be part of the plot, but it doesn’t get to name the whole woman. 🍿 TODAY’S SQUAD CHALLENGE If you had to give your crown journey a movie title, what would it be? Funny. Powerful. Dramatic. Inspirational. Completely ridiculous. 😂 There are no rules! Mine is: 🔥 THIS BALD HEAD AIN’T FOR BEGINNERS Now give us the title of your current chapter too. Maybe the old chapter was Hiding and this one is Showing Up. Maybe it was Who Am I Now? and now it’s Watch Me Find Out. 👀 🤝 Drop your movie title and current chapter below, then find another Empress whose movie you would DEFINITELY watch and tell her why. 😂 Underneath the fun is something important: listening to your own voice means giving yourself permission to name your own story. ❦ Hair loss may be part of your plot. It doesn’t get to write your ending. Different Journeys. One Mission. Unstoppable Together. 🦚

🌺 BENEATH THE BALD IS HERE!
Empresses, I have been quietly building something special for us, and I’m excited to finally invite you inside. Beneath the Bald: A 13 Week Journey from Reflection to Reclamation is officially open, and Weeks 1 through 4 are available now! Based on my book The Bald Truth Unveiled, this is not simply a book study. The book gives us the curriculum. The course gives us a place to work with it. And the Squad gives us women to walk alongside. We’re going beyond what happened to our hair and into what the experience may have uncovered about identity, beauty, vulnerability, confidence, the stories we carry, and the woman underneath it all. Each week, we will: 📖 Learn it. 🪞 Sit with it. 🗝️ Practice it. 💬 Talk about it. And remember, you do not have to be bald to belong here. Hair loss looks different for every woman. Your reveal is personal. Your confidence is not conditional. This is why Baldie Brigade was never going to stop at apparel. The apparel is what we wear. The Squad is where we work on the woman wearing it. 🌺 Weeks 1 through 4 are waiting for you now: Enter Beneath the Bald🎗️ www.skool.com/baldie-brigade-squad-2281/classroom/3288fa08?utm_source=chatgpt.com Different Journeys. 🔎 TUESDAY SELF-TRUST CHECK | When Did You Stop Listening to You?
Aloha and happy Tuesday, Empresses! Yesterday, we talked about continuing to choose ourselves and how those choices begin building self-trust. But here's something I've had to learn: sometimes we don't lose trust in ourselves all at once. We lose it in little moments. Every time we know we're tired but keep pushing. Every time something doesn't feel right but we talk ourselves out of what we're feeling. Every time we say “it's okay” when it really isn't. Every time we shrink a need because we don't want to be “too much.” And every time we already know our answer...but ask everybody else what THEY think first. 👀 Whew, that last one will get you! Hair loss can make this even more complicated because suddenly there may be opinions everywhere. What you should wear. Whether you should shave, cover, or reveal. How you should feel about your hair loss and how quickly you should “embrace” it, but Empress, nobody else gets to become the authority on your journey. 🔎 TODAY'S SELF-TRUST CHECK Think about one area of your life right now and finish this sentence: “I've been telling myself __________, but deep down I already know __________.” Don't rush to fix anything or judge your answer. Just listen. Sometimes rebuilding self-trust starts with proving to yourself that your own voice still matters. 🤝 Squad Conversation If you're comfortable, share what came up for you. You don't have to give us every detail. Even sharing what you're learning about listening to yourself counts and when another Empress shares, let's make this a space where she doesn't have to defend what she knows about herself. ❦ You can't build self-trust while constantly asking yourself to ignore what you know. This week, we're learning to hear ourselves again. Your reveal is personal. Your confidence is not conditional. Different Journeys. One Mission. Unstoppable Together. 🦚
