Hi @Mike Greene Mike, what guidance can you give someone who attended the workshop this Friday gone so that they can further benefit and grow from the workshop in January?
Are you a house cat?
When the door opens will you walk through it Most people think they are stuck. But they are not stuck. They are simply house cats who have never seen the outside world. A house cat is not weak. It is not incapable. It just believes its four walls are the whole universe. And when the door finally opens, it panics. Not because the world is dangerous, but because it is unfamiliar. This is how most adults were raised. Emotional cages. Survival focused systems. Taught to stay safe, avoid risk, keep within the walls they know. Prepared for survival, not expansion. So when life offers something bigger, they freeze. Not because they do not want growth, but because they have never been shown how to see beyond their current reality. Joseph Campbell once said, The cave you fear to enter holds the treasure you seek. And he was right. The fear is rarely about danger. It is about unfamiliarity. Wayne Dyer put it another way, If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change. Your world expands the moment your perspective expands. Because your current reality is not the whole world. It is just the room you grew up in. There is more outside. More opportunity. More potential. And it only looks scary because it is new. So the real question is simple. Are you a house cat or a wild cat? Are you clinging to the comfort of your four walls, or are you ready to explore the territory that was always meant to be yours? Are you living small because it feels safe, or expanding because that is who you truly are? Your soul was never designed for confinement. It was built for discovery. It was built for depth, adventure, and possibility. It was built to roam. Earl Nightingale said, Most people tiptoe through life hoping to make it safely to death. Do not let that be your story. Open the door. Step into the unknown. Get comfortable with the discomfort. There is more of you waiting on the other side.

An interesting post @Mike Greene - as a lover of cats, I always thought of myself as more of an alley cat, someone who loves adventure and stepping into the unknown, but still likes knowing there’s a safe place to come back to. However, over the last three years, that safe place got threatened, and I realised I’d stepped into a territory that didn’t honour honesty or integrity. I lost things I’d spent years building, but I'm still here. What’s interesting is that experience didn’t just crack the container I’d been living in, it actually expanded it. I feel myself growing into someone bigger, stronger, and better prepared for what’s next, it really feels like now’s the time to sort out anything unresolved. If there are things that need closing, this is the year to deal with them, even if there is a month remaining, so I’m ready to step into the next chapter fully in 2026. I’m done tiptoeing. I’m choosing expansion. I’m choosing evolution. I’m choosing to walk through the open door again.
It’s Never Too Late To Chart a New Course
Wherever you are today, you are not stuck. You are simply standing at the current point on your map. And at any moment, you can choose a new destination. Today I have 60 people joining me for a one-day Future Mapping session. We will look honestly at where they are. We will accept it without judgement. And then we will chart a course to a more compelling future. Because here is the truth most people forget. You are not anchored to your past. You are not weighed down by today’s pressures. The only real shackles are the ones in your mind. They are not reality. They are stories. And stories can be rewritten. History is full of people who started from impossible positions. People who came from the toughest backgrounds. People who faced the worst losses, the hardest setbacks, the most brutal challenges. People with every reason to stop, yet every reason to rise. The moment they decided to cut loose the mental chains, everything changed. They chose a new course. They committed to a better future. And they moved towards it with purpose. Your future is not determined by where you stand. It is determined by where you decide to go next. So wherever you are today, remember this: You can chart a new course. You can move towards a bigger, better, more compelling future. And the decision starts the moment you say it does.

Thank you for this post, @Mike Greene Your words are uplifting and powerful, and Friday’s workshop was the perfect reflection of that. The energy, the honesty, and the clarity in the room were incredible. I’m genuinely grateful I could be part of the day and part of this community. It reminded me that no matter where we stand, we always have the ability to choose a new course and move toward something better.

@Declan Glavin The workshop really shook off the imaginary chains for many attendees. Once they broke their goals down into smaller steps, what initially felt overwhelming suddenly became achievable.
Manifesting
Sorry I’ve not been In lessons @Mike Greene I’ve been out working it grafting it.. not sure if they call it manifestation.. I got rained of the other day so instead of going home I went leafleting through some posh doors. I got a call from one of. (1 in 30) We’ve had a meeting I sent an email and looks like we’ve bagged a new client. He’s had his previous gardeners for 7 years. What I do need to learn is how to conract him in, Going to grow bigger for next year 🤞

Well done!
What's your excuse?
Today is Budget Day in the UK. And it is being billed as one of the toughest budgets in living memory. People are terrified. The lack of certainty has had everyone talking, worrying, second guessing. Some have paused decisions for months, hoping this budget would bring clarity. Hoping the light at the end of the tunnel wasn’t a train coming the other way. But here is the truth. Change happens every day. Always has. Always will. In the last 20 years alone we have lived through: → The global financial crisis of 2008 and 2009 → A decade of austerity measures across the UK → Brexit and the uncertainty that followed → The Covid pandemic and worldwide shutdowns → Supply chain collapses and labour shortages → The war in Ukraine and its impact on energy and commodity prices → Inflation hitting multi-decade highs → Interest rates moving from historic lows to steep rises → The cost of living crisis and energy price shocks → Rapid technological disruption including AI and automation → Global shipping and logistics breakdowns → Political instability in multiple regions affecting trade and investment If you are searching for certainty, you will stay in anxiety. If you are waiting for stability, you will stay stuck. The only real skill is learning to operate in a changing environment. To adapt, to adjust, to keep moving. Whether you see today’s budget as good, bad, or downright ugly, the world keeps turning. And you have to turn with it. But here is what happens instead. People put their lives on hold. They wait for the budget. Then they say we are four weeks from Christmas so they might as well wait. Then January. Then February. And another year disappears. Procrastination is the mother of all failure. Action is the mother of success. So stop waiting. Stop holding back. Stop convincing yourself that tomorrow is safer than today. Take action. Because action is always the answer.

In your words @Mike Greene - No matter what today’s Budget brings, I’m choosing to move forward. The last few years have taught me that waiting for perfect conditions only keeps you stuck. Recovery, growth, and momentum come from action, not from hoping the landscape will settle. So whatever the numbers say, I’m committed to adapting, adjusting, and pushing ahead. My focus stays the same: building, improving and moving forward regardless of the noise around me and watching the words I use so I can dig up the beliefs that don't serve me and replace them as I move forward.
