One talent was equal to 15 years of wages of a servant. The master gave one servant 5 talents , 2 talents to the other and 1 talent to the other. And the master embarked on a long journey. When the master came back , he surmoned them to his quarters . The servants with 5 talents and 2 talents traded and doubled the talents , While the servant with 1 talent hid his talent and returned it to the master the way it is. The master was so angry and he punished this servant. Putting more focus on this one servant who impressed his master. A Talent could mean your skill, your network, an idea, money. God your creator gave it to you freely and He expects you to multiply it . Otherwise you will face the wrath of not doing anything with it.
