At the same time women's sports, particularly US women's basketball, have you hooked- the caliber of play, the characters of the athletes, the tension/drama, on & beyond the court/field resonate deeply... What if women’s sports could provide an effective approach to social issues? Ovum Up is a space for civic rookies and journeymen ready to become social equity MVPs through embodying the energy & community of women’s sports. By walking through the dynamics of current and past moments in women's sports we’ll build intuitive strength, gut the greatest gaslights that keep torching progress, and sink into a more holistically feminine, woman-infused way of engaging with each other & the world. One filled with joy laughter, and snacks(!). You’ll feel at home if - You’re socially or civically aware and active, but frustrated by how little seems to change. - Women’s sports resonate with you beyond the games themselves. - You’re ready to explore a different way of addressing serious issues—together. This isn’t a space for “I’m not political,” blame games, or "be quiet and dribble". (Also, to be clear: a woman-infused approach is not an anti-male or anti-masculine one.) Inside the group - Gutting the Gaslight: Ovum Up Edition to strengthen your intuition and replace the narratives that hold us back. - Weekly Wellness Topics thread our individual journeys together with a shared focus. - Biweekly gatherings(subject to seasonal scheduling) to discuss the social side of women's sports(think gossip lite)and connect/collaborate on serious happenings in the world. - Watch-party scheduling for matches, meets, games, analysis and more. For more than 30 years, we’ve helped hundreds of women build intuitive strength and refresh how they engage with the world. Across our work, we’ve helped nearly 1,000 women—and a few men—gut the gaslights derailing their lives.
