Hi everyone! Hope everyone’s shop is doing well. I’m planning to build and grow my own Shopify store for my poster business, and the biggest thing I’m trying to figure out is the marketing strategy. We already have thousands of poster designs, so obviously it wouldn’t make sense to create and run a separate ad for every single poster. For those of you who have experience with Shopify or print-on-demand, I’d love to hear how you would approach this: - Would you focus mainly on Facebook/Instagram ads, Google Ads, Pinterest, TikTok, or something else - Would you advertise individual best-selling posters, collections/niches, or the store/brand itself? - What works better for posters: image/carousel ads or video ads? - If you have thousands of designs across different niches, how do you decide which ones are worth advertising? - Would you send traffic directly to individual products or to collection/category pages? - What kind of strategy would you use to test ads without spending a fortune? I’m especially interested in hearing from anyone who has successfully moved from Etsy to Shopify or runs a large print-on-demand catalog.
