I want to try something different… 👀
Instead of just talking about trips .. let’s actually build one. I’m putting together a small live session where we’ll: • Take a real trip idea • Work through the details together • And leave with an actual plan (not just ideas) This is for you if: You’ve been thinking about traveling but haven’t locked anything in yet. Small group. Real input. Real direction. If you want in, comment “PLAN” and tell me where you’re thinking about going.

Circle. After Hawaii would be looking at Argentina or Spain.
🌍 Friday Travel Vibes — Beach or Mountains? 🏝️⛰️
Quick Friday check-in… keeping this one light. Are you more: 🏝️ Beach person ⛰️ Mountain person Vote in the poll 👇 And in the comments: What’s the best place you’ve experienced that? Where was it? Beach — where? Mountains — where? ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 💡 Friday Reminder — Travel Should Also Be Fun We talk a lot here about: - planning trips - budgets - timing - decisions - logistics All important. But travel also starts with something simpler: what just sounds good. Sometimes the best signals come from: "That place felt amazing ""I loved the vibe "" I’d go back tomorrow" No overthinking. Just instinct. These kinds of posts help surface: - destination trends - travel personalities - group trip ideas - shared interests - And honestly… they just make the space more fun. Not everything has to be: "Where should I go ""What's the budget ""When can I travel" Sometimes it's just: Beach or mountains. Because people don’t just stay for trip planning…They stay because they enjoy being here. Alright — your turn: 🏝️ Beach ⛰️ Mountains ========================= Admin keywords: beach vs mountains travel personality beach travel lovers mountain travel lovers beach vacation ideas mountain getaway ideas travel style preferences destination preference poll relaxed beach travel scenic mountain trips travel vibe preferences future trip signals

I definitely would prefer beach trips over mountain trips but it's because I haven't really done mountain activities.
You Don’t Need To Plan Every Minute Of A Trip

That's kind of how I'm looking to plan my Hawaii trip. Mostly volcano, zip line, probably a massage. And the rest just kind of open.

@Michael Johnson I was thinking about the same thing. I could find some experience that I didn't catch before. I also just like to explore and just walk around and find myself in interesting places. Keeping it open makes sense to me. And honestly I know myself, I'm no good with schedules really.
I am paying attention...
I’ve been paying close attention to the conversations happening here — and some clear travel patterns are starting to form. This is actually really helpful for shaping where this community goes next. Here’s what I’m seeing so far: 1. Small Group > Solo Planning A lot of you don’t necessarily want to plan everything yourself — you want: • simple logistics • relaxed pacing • curated options • people to travel with • less decision fatigue This shows up again and again. 2. Not Everyone Wants the Same Kind of Trip. We’re already seeing a few distinct travel styles forming: 🌍 Value International Explorers: Warm destinations, culture, walkable cities, strong value for cost(think: Portugal, Mexico City, Morocco, Colombia) 🏔️ Relaxed Reset Travelers: Mountains, cozy stays, small groups, slow pace, recharge trips(think: Vermont, Smoky Mountains, Asheville) 🚗 Scenic / Easy Pace Travelers: National parks, scenic drives, minimal hiking, comfortable pacing(think: Glacier, Yellowstone, Acadia) ✈️ Bucket List Planners: Big trips but with runway Safari, Hawaii, Alaska, Europe(less “now”, more “plan ahead”) 👥 Social Travelers / Connectors: Want community, shared experiences, bringing friends, hosted trips Destination matters less than the people 3. Decision Friction Is The Real Block. Many of you already know where you want to go…But you're stuck on: • timing • cost comparisons • who to go with • logistics • “is this realistic?” Which tells me the group is less about ideas — and more about helping you actually decide. 4. Pace Matters More Than I Expected!! Strong signals for: • 4–7 day trips • relaxed itineraries • walkable cities • scenic experiences • not overpacked schedules Less interest in: • fast-paced multi-city • heavy hiking • party-style trips • complex logistics What this means going forward... Instead of random trip ideas, I’m going to start shaping things around: • clear travel styles • small group fit • realistic budgets • relaxed pacing • decision-friendly options

I'm so excited I'm all of them but for right now I would want social group travel, cozy mountain reset, and value international.
I Mapped Where Everyone Is From — And Trips Might Actually Form
I mapped out where everyone in this group is located… and something interesting showed up. We’re more clustered than I expected. Here’s the rough breakdown so far: • United States — 73 members • Europe — 16 • Africa — 4 • Middle East — 4 • South America — 2 • Canada — 1 • Australia / New Zealand — 2 Within the U.S.:• Texas — 21 • Midwest — 20 • Northeast — 19 • South — 6 • West — smaller but growing What this tells me: We actually have enough geographic overlap to start forming real trips, not just ideas. It also suggests a few trip types that would be easiest to pull off first: • Central U.S. easy meetup trips • East coast walkable city weekends • Warm international from major hubs • Small group domestic starter trips This is helpful because it means we don’t need to jump straight to complicated travel — we can start with things that are realistically reachable for the most people. Curious — which would be easiest for you to join? • Central U.S. trip (Chicago / Nashville / Denver) • East Coast city (NYC / Boston / DC) • Warm international (Mexico / Portugal / Costa Rica) • Something else I’m watching for patterns. ================================================== Admin keywords: member locations travel where members are located group travel by location geographic travel planning regional group trips travel clusters by location US group travel planning east coast group trips central US group trips warm international trips small group domestic travel travel demand mapping travel interest by region community trip planning future trips by location Chicago Nashville Denver trip NYC Boston DC group trip Mexico Portugal Costa Rica trip travel planning logistics group travel formation
