How can I network important people in the IB industry?

I am a Chartered Accountant (ACCA) with a finance degree and currently pursuing CFA Level 1. With 7 years of corporate accounting experience, including the past 2 years in FP&A, I am interested in understanding the prospects and opportunities for professionals, say who are in their mid-early 30s and seeking to transition into investment banking or private equity. Additionally, I would like to know if this platform support candidates with comparable backgrounds.
