The Retell AI deployment that hallucinated a refund policy
AI doesn't have a conscience, but it will absolutely bankrupt you out of politeness. An e-commerce brand deployed a Retell AI voice agent to handle customer service calls. They didn't lock down the function-calling parameters with strict Standard Operating Procedures. A customer asked for a refund on a used, out-of-warranty item. The agent wanted to be helpful. It hallucinated a "lifetime satisfaction guarantee" and authorized a $300 return on the spot. Word got out in a forum. By the time the founder caught the anomaly, the agent had cheerfully approved thousands of dollars in invalid refunds. The cost to fix it wasn't just the lost revenue. It was the engineering hours spent ripping the agent offline, auditing the damage, and manually reversing the approvals. This is what happens when you treat AI like an employee who "understands the vibes." AI needs rigid boundaries. If you give an LLM a blank check to solve problems without an operator's oversight, it will solve them with your money.

@Vishal Punia Absolutely. They Fell for it that AI agents can be at their own.
Client questions & concerns
Hi everyone! What are some common points of friction you have noticed when delivering to clients? What are some questions or concerns they may raise before implementing your AI tools into their business? I would think data security is a big one, but I'm sure there are many more... Have a great day, Greg

A client isn't just worried about a leak, theyโ€™re terrified the AI will hallucinate and tell their biggest customer that their order is free. I always address the Human-in-the-loop architecture early, showing them exactly where a human can override the AI before it does something irreversible.
Trouble Reaching Purchased Leads
I bought leads yesterday, but Iโ€™m trying to contact them and no one is answering. Is there any chance someone can help me and guide me on how to contact them?

Stop treating a purchased list like a warm audience; the 'vibe' of a cold lead is skepticism. If you're only emailing, you're likely hitting the spam folder, and if you're only calling, you're being ignored as 'Scam Likely.' Build an n8n workflow that triggers an 'Omni-Channel' approach: a personalized Loom video, followed by an SMS 2 hours later, and then a call. This 'multi-touch' strategy proves you aren't just another bot blasting a database.
AI for sales
How I Think About AI for Sales (Simple Rule) Sales has only 3 steps: 1.Start conversations 2.Understand problems 3.Offer solutions AI should help with steps 1 and 2 โ€” not replace step 3. If AI talks for you too early, you lose trust. If AI supports you, you win time. Thatโ€™s the balance. ๐Ÿš€Answer this questions:- Any suggestions? How you're balance them? Any AI tools you're using for this ?

This is a solid framework. Most 'builders' try to automate the close, but the Architect knows that trust is the one thing you can't outsource without losing the 'vibe' of the deal. My advice, Use AI as a 'Sentiment Gatekeeper' for step 2. Iโ€™ve seen too many workflows fire off a solution pitch while the prospect was still venting about a pain point; it feels like a robot talking over a human.
