Professional Introduction
I am a Senior Logistics and Procurement professional with over 20 years of diverse experience in logistics, procurement, warehouse operations, project coordination, and humanitarian projects. Throughout my career, I have worked with government institutions, UNHCR-related projects, and private-sector organizations, where I have been responsible for project coordination, stakeholder management, procurement, resource management, reporting, data analysis, and operational planning. In my current role, I develop and analyze project progress reports, maintain spreadsheets and records, coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and support project planning and corrective actions. As part of my continued professional development and career growth, I am keen to enhance my skills in Power BI, data analysis, data visualization, and other modern analytical tools. I want to develop the ability to transform operational and project data into meaningful dashboards, reports, and actionable insights. These skills will enable me to strengthen my capabilities in Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E), project monitoring, performance reporting, data-driven decision-making, and management reporting. I want combine my extensive experience in project coordination, logistics, procurement, and reporting with advanced data analytics skills.

Welcome to the community!
A New Idea for Our Community. What Do You Think?
We have people in this community from many different backgrounds such as Finance, Healthcare, Retail, Marketing, Logistics, IT and many more. I was thinking, why should all the learning sessions come from me? Everyone here has knowledge and experience that others can learn from. What if we start community led sessions where members can volunteer to share something from their own field? For example, someone from Finance could explain important financial KPIs and how they are analyzed. Someone from Logistics could explain logistics operations and KPIs. Someone from Healthcare could introduce healthcare data and analytics. It does not need to be a formal lecture. Even a 20 to 30 minute session sharing your experience, business processes, important KPIs, data or a real world analytics example could be very valuable for everyone. This way, we can learn not only Power BI, SQL and VBA, but also understand how data and analytics are actually used across different industries. My goal is to build a community where we learn from each other, share our experience and grow together rather than depending on one person for all the learning. What do you think about this idea? Would you be interested in sharing something from your field with the community?
Dashboard CarMax
I have created a dashboard for CarMax to provide the following key answers: - Where are vehicles being sold above or below market value (MMR)? - Which regions and states drive pricing performance? - How do vehicle condition, mileage, and attributes influence pricing outcomes? @Muhammad Asif Sir, I need your valuable feedback on: 1. The star schema: Is it okay to use a star schema without creating multiple dimtables? I have created only a dimdate table, and for the rest, I have used the fact table. 2. Do my KPI cards and visuals show deep insights relevant to the above questions?. 3. Can we use AI to write executive reports? Appreciate your expert opinion

Good job Asif, clean and professional design. It is better and recommended to have proper star schema. Lot of descriptive columns are not encouraging and making fact table messy. KPI cards are good, use red/green colors for up and downwards trend. You can use AI to write reports and proof read if AI generated report aligns with the dashboard kPIs.
Checking on Excel VBA Class Schedule
Hi Sir @Muhammad Asif , Hope you’re doing well. Just wanted to check if there’s any plan to resume the Excel VBA classes. It’s been a couple of weeks without sessions, so I thought to ask. Thank you for your time and guidance.
