I got 1m in grant credits for Image & Video from Eleven labs for free 🥳
Something landed in my inbox last week and I had to share it with you! ElevenLabs gave me access to their new Image & Video Beta as part of their Startup Grant program. The grant includes: 33 million free credits (12 months) + access to image generation, video creation, and lipsync (models like Sora, Kling, Flux Kontext, Veo). Requirements are straightforward: fewer than 25 employees, a business or monetisation strategy, and a clear idea of how you'd use it. You can apply here: https://elevenlabs.io/startup-grants

Imagine being a 68 year old women in a room full of guys during TechWeek. That's me. After teaching my friends at the senior center how to maximize their phone, AI and health portals, I decided to take my show on the road. But seriously, I want to build apps that helps improve the quality of life for us older gals. I have three that I am working on. SooulPaws, Ms. Sassy and Where's the bathroom.

💪 Accountability is the one I'm most excited about. I truly believe there's something powerful about women committing out loud to trying new things and then actually checking back in. Post what you're going to try this week, whether that's a tool, a workflow, or a project you've been quietly putting off. Then come back and tell us what happened! 🚀 Opportunities is for exactly what it sounds like. A job that's hiring for AI skills, a speaker slot you spotted, a cool event, a grant, a collab. If you come across something that would be genuinely useful to someone in this room, share it there. We should be the first to know about these things, not the last! --> One thing I want us to do from the start: if you're affiliated in any way with what you're sharing, just say so. You work there, you get a referral bonus, you know the organiser. Whatever it is, name it. My goal is to make canine freestyle dancing for seniors as popular as pickleball." Hi Ladies, I've been spending a lot of time lately building my "Where's Your Phone At?" workshops for seniors, but I realized I've neglected one of my first passions—creating technology that helps older adults live happier, more connected lives. So, I'd like to share something I've been working on called SooulPaws. SooulPaws is an app designed to help seniors and their canine companions learn canine freestyle dancing through simple lessons, encouragement, and a little bit of fun. My vision is to create something that promotes movement, companionship, joy, and community for older adults. To be completely honest, sharing it makes me a little nervous because it's still growing and evolving. But I value this group and would love your honest feedback before I take it to a wider audience. I tried Google Calendar, Calendly, you name it. I really did try to be fancy and digital. But I finally had to admit the truth: the only calendars that actually work for me are my little pocketbook calendar and the one hanging in my kitchen. Sometimes I just have to grab a pen, write it down, and go full old school, because apparently, paper still understands me better than technology.
