Are you a marketing agency owner or digital marketer?
You may or may not be aware that I run 2 groups... this one for contractors, where I post ideas to help them market their businesses on their own, and another group for marketers, marketing agency owners, (I opened my agency in 2012) or anyone doing digital marketing. I am hosting a live call tomorrow in the marketing group... so if you want me to answer any questions or help you in any way, join that group as well! It's at https://www.skool.com/ai-sprinkled-4654/about . You can join live and ask, or post a question and I'll answer it so you can listen to the replay! It's the home of the $175 agency! :)

Answer that on the call and the room picks itself.
34,000 reviews and STILL not ranking well!
Parker & Sons is one of the biggest home service companies in Arizona. They do over $220M a year, and their main Phoenix Google Business Profile has 34,220 reviews. Noah Igler, one of my mentors, did a test: He pulled every public review on that profile from the last 30 days. They got 11. (Google doesn't only look at how many reviews you have, but how RECENT!) The newest one was from September 21. Their Tucson profile has about a sixth of the reviews, and it got 116 in the same 30 days. The public data doesn't show why Phoenix slowed down, so we won't guess. He ran a scan for "ac repair near me" across Phoenix: - #1 on 4% of the grid - Top 5 on 6% - Outside the top 20 on 78% - Average rank of 18.7 They only show up strong in a small circle around their office near Sky Harbor. Across the rest of the metro, companies with a fraction of their reviews rank ahead of them. Why 34,000 reviews can't carry a whole metro... A Google Business Profile ranks in a circle a few miles around its address. Inside that circle, a big review count helps. Outside it, the company closer to the searcher wins, even with way fewer reviews. Google also looks at how many reviews are coming in right now. That's why we rank review velocity ahead of total count. Some of the businesses we work with have about an eighth of Parker's reviews and get 10 to 15 times more new ones every month. Here's the review system to install: 1. Track new reviews per profile, every week. Set each profile's target from completed jobs. Make sure to turn 20 to 30% of finished jobs into reviews. 2. Have the tech ask in person before leaving, with a QR code card in hand. About 75% of the reviews our home service companies get come from that one moment. Point the customer toward the service and the town: "If you have 30 seconds, a quick review about the AC repair we did today in Tempe would really help us out." 3. Follow up with everyone who says they'll do it later. They get a text 12 hours after the job and an email the next day. After 48 hours, they go on a call list the office works through every Friday. Pay techs and CSRs per review, and give each group its own leaderboard.

The velocity point is the one people skip. 11 new reviews in 30 days on a profile that size says the ask stopped, not that the reviews got old. Worth checking where in the job it is asked.
Free business resources for fellow contractors
I built my contracting company to over $500K in total revenue, and I want to help other small contractors succeed. All the knowledge on my website is free, whether you need help marketing, advertising, quoting or need help diagnosing an issue within your company, all the resources and tools on my website are free, we don’t put anything behind a paywall or sign up form, I have a real passion for construction and id like to save fellow contractors the headache if I can, by the way, my name is Michael, nice to meet you https://blackmountaintech.ca

Free and no signup form is the hard part to hold to. The useful gap Michael asked about. Contractors keep asking how to line when the scope is still vague.

Pricing before the Point it at is clear. I mean the point where you have to put a number on a job while half the details are still unknown. Most contractors handle that with a gut feel and a margin guess. The version I would trust is writing down the rule behind the gut feel. The handful of inputs that make the number, then quoting out of that.

Your list is the exact stack that decides which one ad spend is measurable. The part worth arguing about. Server-side tagging is not privacy compliance by itself. What you choose to forward is.
My printer manual is now a latin mass
Came across an HP troubleshooting manual and decided it needed a choir. Every lyric is a real line from the manual. Paper jam. Remove any jammed paper. PC LOAD LETTER. Even the amen. Is it sacred? No. Is it stuck in my head? Unfortunately. Still taking requests. Weirdest manual or instruction sheet in the comments and I'll see what I can do with it.

PC LOAD LETTER as a refrain is the one that earns the amen. Something with real rhythm to work with. The copyright page of an IKEA booklet, or the Microsoft EULA. That one's a hymn already.

Nothing in the comment to answer, Dan, so I'll leave it. If you're working on something specific with an AI worker, say what it is and I'll tell you straight which one the approach holds up or where it'll break.
