@Jack McGregor I think all these are areas men need to improve and I also think we have the rest of our lives to develop each piece and keep growing. They might be broad and we can attempt to nurture each aspect for the rest of our lives.

I get tired fast man. Consistency has been a task. Like today, I feel tired and I am not sure I can do this whole day's routine.

Found the Quote "You are forever condemned to live out the consequences of your own taste" recently Living a life your proud of is the best way to still like your own taste in all you enjoy as you age or life feels like a highlight reel of regrets & mistakes Many say they would die for family But would you live your healthiest happiest life being emotionally present & not fixated on the past or future? Not being fixated on materialism, status or self doubt Being in the now is all we have Instead of thinking oh... One day Think of today as Day one

Which is why some people live in depression and anxiety. Those who live in depression live in a past that doesn't exist and those who have anxiety live in a future that doesn't exist. Just like you presented it, the present is what matters.

The crusades?
i was reading about the crusades back in catholic times when holy knights defended their world and used their transcendent belief in Jesus to charge forward while knowing the brutal and horrible thing's the people would do to them in their foreign land, they sacrificed everything to protect their land. Do you think this is how we should view growth in this modern day society we have lost? Let me hear your thoughts.

I think, because of the gradual shift of life this days, most of the responsibilities we were delegated by life have been a little bit dissolved. I don't think the mentality ought to change..

@Jack McGregor Coffee is your brain and poison or sugar is what you consume. If a friend or foe places sugar into your coffee, nothing happens but if either places poison into your coffee, you die. It doesn't matter who puts poison into your coffee, the damage is still the same. It's pretty hard to discern the motives of everyone but if you stand guard at the gates of your mind, poison is not coming in. My mom, whom I love very much, injected into my mind the concept of college. She asked me to continue with the pursuit of college even though I was the one paying my school fees. She believes that school is the only way I can succeed and I know that her intentions are not evil but that is not true. I paused my passion for human nature just to pursue her dreams. Despite her motives being honest and right, she was putting poison in my mind. And I ended up wasting 2 years pursuing chemistry but when I realised that the pursuit of a degree is not coherent with my dreams, I quit. But the damage already happened. I wasted time.
