Day 1
I love life insurance! My exes say I can talk the paint off the walls with it. I meet so many people whose lives would be worlds better, if only better coverage, or b. a decent income were more accessible. Life insurance fits both bills! You can be legally licensed within a couple weeks, but what then? SELLING insurance is a whole different ballgame; lots of people’s dreams die on this threshold, because it feels like STARTING OVER. You need products, and you still need training to make any money. I’d like to lower that threshold, by weaving classroom knowledge with sales floor know-how. The specific aim is passing the South Carolina examination for insurance licensure in the Life line of authority (LOA). In order to demonstrate key points, I’ll be using the products offered through Occidental Life of North Carolina as examples. Best stick to what I know.

@Kenya Caldwell This really resonates. A lot of people underestimate how big the gap is between getting licensed and actually selling with confidence. Blending classroom theory with real sales-floor context sounds like exactly what’s missing for many new agents.
