I built a scoreboard to test my Skool members. Week 1, it tested me.
Week 1 of a month-long challenge in one of my Skool communities is done. 8 guys, 39 check-ins, one live scoreboard. I thought I was grading them. The scoreboard graded me. 3 things it taught me fast: 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘀𝗶𝘇𝗲. A small room that doubled beat a big room that grew 8%. When your smallest member can win, everyone plays. Rank by raw totals and you just tell your new people they already lost. 𝗔 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝘄𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝗻 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗴𝗵𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱. It only reached the people already showing up. The drifters came back for one thing: a DM. Never the feed. 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘂𝗽 𝗜𝗦 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗻. One guy checked in every day from vacation. Logged honest zeros. Still counted. Drop the bar to "showed up," not "performed," and the streak survives the bad days. None of it is a hack. Just design the game so people can actually win. That's the whole idea behind Memberflow. 3 weeks to go, and I broke down all 5 rules from week 1 in the video below. What actually keeps your members showing up?

My wish is that Skool creates leaderboards that are more community specific. Too generic!

@Brian Walsh It's more about affiliate marketing than community experience. So I take the good and work my spin with the not so good. Just wish they were more open to feedback than cutting comments off. I'm trying to find good skoolr's with very unique niches for my upcoming event and I can't post this in skoolrs b/c it is seen as promoting my community. Trying to network within other skoolrs to build connections and future sales (ie. merchant fees) and it is a lot of work. But I guess meta ads make a better ROI for them than existing skoolers networking together to bring more members to skool communities. Way above my paygrade to understand that!
🏗️ What Are You Building?
Drop a quick comment below 👇 What are you building on Skool right now? Keep it simple: - "A community about ___" - "Just getting started with ___" - "Working on ___" No overthinking and don't add too much detail. Feel free to share links here too! 𝗣𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗼 𝗴𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀, 𝘀𝗲𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗶𝘀 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸. (𝗔𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗹𝘆 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀) That’s how this gets fun (and actually useful). James & Brian

I have my Rock Your Moolah Community where we create a foundation on Rock for your financial plan. I've continued to build my financial planning practice for the past 25+ years but I am also a singer/songwriter so I add a musical spin to my programs and offerings. My new community is being launched called 'The IMPACT EXPERIENCE' where your IP creates Transformation. The launch is this September 7-11 where I will be hosting a multi-speaker virtual event where each speaker is using their IP to create transformation and revenue.
