Word to the wise from someone who learned the hard way 🤦♀️ I bought my custom domain straight through Beacons because it was the easy button at the time. What I didn't realize is that since it ties your domain to their ecosystem moving it out later turns into a real headache. So if you're launching a site or a brand, buy your domain at a dedicated registrar like Porkbun or Namecheap and then just point it wherever you want. You actually own it that way, you get WHOIS privacy for free, and renewals are cheaper. And when you switch platforms, which you will eventually, you just re-point it instead of dealing with unresponsive support and transfer fees.
