Hello, I’m 52 years old and I started running 9 years ago. I’ve run quite a few half marathons and a couple of marathons. Running always gave me energy and became a natural part of my everyday life. Then menopause came, and I simply lost the desire to run. When I did run, I felt like I was just plodding along. Last year was a constant cycle of starting again. I read a lot and listened to podcasts on the topic, and I started doing strength training twice a week. I would really like to find my way back to enjoying running again.
