Salaam Dear Abdur, you mentioned that one version of the Quran is in Arabic/English. Would that version be available? I am currently taking Tajweed classes and it would be handy to see the Arabic text as well. Monet

Salaam Mousa, I don’t want to sound corny but Islam came into my life at the most perfect time and it has been a much needed journey for me. I feel like I am enjoying every aspect of it but I decided to not overwhelm myself and take it day by day. From day one ( of my shahada) I have been trying to learn, read something every day even if little. Now I’m getting the prayers memorized and almost completed. So I am starting to do the prayers not perfect yet but in the works. I think the timing of some of the prayers are challenging especially in our modern work days but I am working on it. I think the key thing for me is to let myself not be perfect just yet but give myself time to learn and adjust to the new lifestyle.

Salaam, I too, missed the open book session. Unfortunately, I work most Mondays in the evenings, but will drop in whenever I can and definitely follow the video recordings. I am very appreciative of every drop of teachings I can get and will remember the slow but consistency approach. Since my Shahada this past July, I have been trying to learn/read something every day but it was still a very slow process. Now as I am finding more of a community here on this platform and in my private life I feel my learning of Islam is finally starting to take off. I don’t know if this is a good metaphor but instead of finding a few drops of water or a glass of water there is a whole ocean out there and I am very thirsty 😂. My point being is that there is soooo much to learn and we must continue to want to learn and be eager to learn.
