Any advice when starting your lash business💗
Hi girls, I’m newly qualified in lashing lifting & tinting! I’m so glad I found this community and I’m just wondering if any of you have any advice when starting out with setting up a lash business and building up clients💗

Don’t stop learning!! The more you know the more confident you’ll be🩷 plus there’s always some new trend or new product coming out! Make the client experience the best you can, make them feel comfortable, so you stand out from everyone else doing the same things! Take pictures and videos of everything, even behind the scenes, it helps build a relationship with clients and makes them feel like they know you before they’ve even come to you for a service 🫶🏽 & I’ve only just learnt this now 5 years on but keep everything separate money wise, I opened a business bank account and everything from clients goes in there and everything I buy for my business comes out of there and I pay myself a wage to stop me spending everything I earn🤣💘

Editing pics….yes or no? 👍🏻👎🏻
Hey girls!! Just curious do many of you edit your lash pics before you post? I know some prefer the pre unfiltered photos and some pics I’ve seen look like they edit theirs? Don’t get me wrong… I’m all for editing off a stray lash etc, but just curious what does everyone do? Also..if you do..what do you do and what apps do you use for it??

I sometimes blur their skin or the background on Facetune, just so they feel abit more comfortable being posted and so the lashes are the main focus! & I sometimes use Snapseed to edit out stray lashes or things that bother me in the pic! I do think taking the pics from a flattering angle and good lighting is important and I try not to go overboard because people can definitely tell !! 🩷

@Ellie Fielding yeah! From what I can remember it’s free, I just use the healing tool and I tap over small areas that I want to edit out, my clients always feel insecure about their skin so I just edit out small spots so they feel abit more comfortable, nothing crazy but I definitely think it’s worth having for stuff like that! Xx

So obvs we've had a lash lift focus recently as I know they've become soooo popular and I want you all to be super confident in getting consistent results every time !!! (today I've filmed how to tint bottom lashes, what to do when you've not put enough step 2 on, how to choose the right shield for your client) BUT ofc I wanna film more lash & business tutorials for you all soooooo lmk what you wanna see! Is there anything you're struggling with? Anything you feel a bit stuck with atm that I can help you with? The more info you guys give me the more education I can film for you in here 🥰 Comment below anything you wanna see 💘 PS OG LashLife Members Lunch & LashLife Content Day are both being planned 👀

This was my last set of the day yesterday! We did a bespoke brown set and I’m really pleased with the outcome! Swipe for the before 😱 I think I need to work on my photography skills though to capture THE shot!
