Communication with Volunteers
Hi! I just started in a new role as Children's Minister to a ministry with about 120 volunteers. Previously, all communication to volunteers was phone calls and text. I have begun using e-mail for mass communication but would also like a way for teachers to communicate with each other and me (possibly by grade). I was thinking something like GroupMe or WhatsApp? Has anyone used something similar or have any recommendations?

We send out a weekly email and have started to have GroupMe for different age groups. Our preschool classes have started it and it is working well to communicate with everyone and they can talk to each other in the group as well. We are still rolling it out, but like it right now.

Hey! Would anyone be willing to share a brief overview of how your Kids Ministry team is structured and what the different roles on your team look like? It would be incredibly helpful as we think through how to best support our staff, volunteers, and families. Can you also tell me how many kids you have on a Sunday?
