I am supposed to generate leads for a plumbing company. I have never used Pmax before and thus looking for suggestions - does that work for local lead gen?

I'm just in and seeing this is a great group I am a Google ads media buyer with 4 years of experience in agency providing service businesses and health vertical - mainly search ads. I lost my job and recently looking to upskill myself to land better opportunities in future.
