8/8 Reflections
Today, my body, and mind were LOUD. All types of thoughts of doubt, fear, & condemning thoughts were fired at me. However, after being on this faith journey of surrender since 2017, I now know NOT to give Satan my words. I let all of those negative thoughts fall to the ground without ever letting them come out of my mouth. Jesus made it very clear that power and authority was given to us (Luke 10:19). We are made in the image of God.... When God creates... HE SPEAKS... refer to all of the "God saids..." in Genesis 1. Ephesians 5:1 calls us to be IMITATORS of God and God does not SPEAK doubt or fear. God speaks with POWER. A power He has given to us through the finished work of Jesus Christ. Proverbs 18:21 informs us that death and life are in the power of our tongues. Another powerful reminder is Psalm 141:3 (AMP) "Set a guard, O Lord, over my mouth; Keep watch over the door of my lips [to keep me from speaking thoughtlessly]." What I've learned on this journey is that you can have thoughts of doubt in your mind and faith in your heart at the same time. The one that is obeyed - through words and actions, is the fruit that will produce. The attached video is an example of what came from the spoken words of the ALMIGHTY GOD!

Whoa this is AMAZING!!!! I’ve always been intrigued with the skies since very little.
GOD IS OUR ONLY SOURCE.
When Abraham (our father in faith) was offered the spoils of battle, he refused them: “I will not take… any thing that is thine, lest thou shouldest say, I have made Abram rich.” — Genesis 14:22–23 Abraham understood something that walking by faith requires: God is our only Source. Our job is not our source. Our education is not our source. Our background, connections, position, talents, abilities, finances, reputation—and especially other people—are not our source. God may use any of these things as channels, but He is always the Source. This requires a renewing of the mind, because in the natural we are taught to put confidence in what we can see. But the Bible says: “In Him we live, and move, and have our being.” — Acts 17:28 “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above.” — James 1:17 “The LORD’S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save.” — Isaiah 59:1 Paul considered everything he had accomplished as loss compared with knowing Christ (Philippians 3:7–8). And he reminded us that our faith must not rest in human wisdom, but in the power of God (1 Corinthians 2:5). Today, God is reminding us that walking by faith requires us to see truly see Him as our only source. God is not limited by our present or our past. Jesus is "upholding all things by the word of his power" (Hebrews 1:3) and we place the limitation on him through unbelief (Mark 6:5). As we spend time in and meditating on the Word, our minds are being renewed to the realities of the Kingdom. That in turn replaces unblief with faith, because faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17), and as a result all things are possible (Mark 9:23). He is your Source. And you can trust Him. 🎧 Listening suggestion: “Hollow” — Mercy Chinwo SOZO | Called to Excellence

Thank you for this song and the word.

Today sort of felt all over the place on this faith journey. The Lord woke me up at 3:30am to be with Him because I had too many thoughts of concerns and scattered to do lists going on in my head, in my half sleep. So I went in my prayer closet and was reminded of Matthew 6:34 “So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." What is causing my mind the MOST stagnation right now? The Lord showed me that I needed to enforce my daughter's NEED to get a walking routine, to help heal her runners knee. (Something thats been on and off plaguing her for 6 years.) It was emotionally, and spiritually draining me, causing a domino effect of my thoughts to bombard me. Knowing that I had to "enforce" this filled my body with panic. She is on the autism spectrum and gives VERY STRONG resistance to change, but I knew that I must obey the Lord. After sending her off to school I shifted gears towards working on Sozo. I was feeling optimistic when I got a phone call from the school nurse that my daughter's knee was swollen and being iced and that I should schedule an appointment and get her meds and crutches, but that she didn't want to leave school..... I ended that call and could feel the spirit of doubt, sadness, and fear talking to me! In the moment of quietly sulking in the feelings, I grabbed my phone, to distract, for a moment and read a DM from our sister @Stephanie Wiseley ! While reading it my spirit told me its time for warfare. We are all family and have to stand with each other! (I honestly wanted to sulk a bit longer) but knew that I couldn't. There's a battle at hand and I had to fight. I wrote out and recorded The Declaration of Healing prayer to upload in the classroom. It challenged me! The computer kept glitching, I kept stumbling over my words while recording, I felt tired of fighting with the enemy etc...all the things!! But by the time I started yelling at sickness, disease, and pain something ROSE UP in my spirit and I felt a shift!

Wow this is amazing experience. I love it!!!! It is inspiring. I’ve been feeling compelled to use my knee brace less and less. Actually a few times I forgot it mid class while teaching I would realize that it was not on.. Thank you for sharing.

A Lesson in Learning to Rest.
Good day, everyone, I have a testimony to share. I had a financial need this week that was met unexpectedly. My check engine light was on and had been on for some weeks. I had been praying about it, but God revealed to me in a dream that I needed to say, "Lord, your will be done with this situation; I give it to YOU." My sleep was being interrupted by all the what-ifs. I turned on a message from Creflo Dollar, and he said, "Some of you all need to be ok with receiving help," which can be an issue for me, so that was specifically for me. I broke down and finally asked someone just to assist me in getting a diagnostic test specifically for my vehicle so I would know exactly what the problem is. I got the diagnosis and quote for repairs (I didn't have the money). I planned to just wait; I had no other choice. I have been reading Hebrews 4, which speaks about resting in his finished works (which has been a struggle with me giving up control that I thought I had and stopping trying to figure it out in my own power). I texted the person who helped just to say thank you and how I appreciated the help with the diagnostic test. I was prepared to wait it out, trusting God. I stayed up late that same night and received a late-night text that said, "Just let me know how much for the repairs; get your car fixed." I did not ask for this help from any person; I even questioned if this was for real. I made an appointment for the repairs for 1:00 pm, but they said whenever you get here, we will take care of you (which was favor). I got there at 10:21 am and was done by 12:45 pm. It was originally said it would take longer; maybe I even had to pick it up the next day. On top of that, the serviceman gave me a discount on the original quoted price, which allowed me to pay an overdue bill. I am so grateful!!!!!! 😢 🙌 I have been just in awe of him and how he shows up continually. This was not what or how I expected this to happen. His ways are not our ways; his thoughts are not our thoughts.

@Jesse Dishner I’ve been reading it for weeks. I need it to embed my cells, so it becomes an involuntary action Iike breathing.
