Wow what an episode I really enjoyed it
After hearing Sherif Foda speak today, what stayed with you most?
My biggest personal takeaway from the session: A lot of things in energy aren’t impossible — they’re a question of will, execution, and economics. Today, we covered everything from building NESR to leadership, energy transition, and scaling in complex markets. What stayed with you most? Drop your thoughts and reflections in the comments You can find the session recording on the classroom section of the community! What stayed with me the most ist that one of the key challenges in the energy industry today is balancing sustainability goals with the continued global reliance on oil and gas. While much of the discussion focuses on transitioning away from fossil fuels, I believe an equally important opportunity lies in making existing operations more efficient and environmentally responsible. For me as a Materials Science and Engineering student, improving material performance, reducing equipment failure, and optimizing field operations can significantly lower emissions and energy losses. These engineering-driven improvements not only enhance sustainability but also increase operational reliability and reduce long-term costs. In my view, the future of energy is not defined by a single transition, but by a combination of innovation within existing systems and gradual integration of new energy solutions. Bridging this gap requires both technical advancement and strategic decision-making. I am interested to hear how others in the network view the balance between optimizing current energy systems and accelerating the transition to alternative sources. What do you think?🤔🙂
Who am I?! 🤔🙂
Hello everyone, my name is Mohammed Alhelali, a Materials Science and Engineering student at KFUPM. I am particularly interested in the intersection of material performance and energy operations, especially how engineering solutions can improve efficiency, reliability, and environmental performance in oil and gas systems. My long-term goal is to contribute to making energy operations more sustainable by reducing emissions while maintaining operational efficiency. I am especially interested in how technical decisions at the field level connect with broader strategic priorities in the industry. I am excited to be part of the TEE360 Future Energy Leaders Network and look forward to learning from diverse perspectives, engaging in meaningful discussions, and gaining insights into how the future of energy is being shaped.

If you’re here, it’s because you want more. More access. More opportunity. More from your career in energy. But here’s the reality. As an ambitious young professional in energy myself, over the last year I’ve realised something: 👉 Your success in this industry is dependent on your network. But early on… that’s the problem. You don’t have access to the right rooms. You don’t know the right people. And you’re not surrounded by others who push you forward. That's why I'm building: The TEE360 Future Energy Leaders Network... A global community designed to help you level up faster. A place where you: • Meet your future mentors, partners, and collaborators • Connect with ambitious people like you • Get direct access to the CEOs and executives shaping the industry This network is intentionally built not to be for everyone. This is for people who want to lead in energy. Not just be part of it. If that’s you — welcome. Now do this: 1️⃣ Introduce yourself in the community 2️⃣ Share what you’re working on / where you want to go 3️⃣ Share your 'Hot Take' in the energy industry... Let's get to work!
