I have been a little absent from this space because 1. I was in Costa Rica on a skooler IRL event (which was pretty awesome) and 2. I have had a lot of personal things going on. My third daughter, a 2 year old, is one of the most medically complex cases most of her specialists have seen. She has a lot of developmental delays which make things difficult (she has 0 interest in food and is completely nonverbal). We suspect Autism but we're in the process of getting an official diagnosis. She also is medically complex because she is allergic to most foods and has one of the most extreme eczema cases that some of her providers have ever seen. Navigating assembling a team of specialists is difficult and so is figuring out how to move her forward with eating when she's allergic to most things and trying to deal with her eczema when she is still so young, incapable, and non-communicative. I would love some prayers for wisdom as we navigate these tough waters and the healing hand of our lord and savior to heal our little girl ❤️

My husband really struggles with the idea that we have a direct relationship with God and that he works all things for our good. To him, thinking God is going to "save us" is having "main character syndrome". I get what he's saying, but I think sometimes he assumes that relying on God means we don't do anything. How do you reconcile the balance between relying on God and doing what you have to do?
