A movie recommendation! - English Vinglish
I don't frequently offer movie recommendations here, but I would really recommend watching English Vinglish. It's about Shashi, an Indian woman who takes English classes in New York to prepare for her niece's wedding. She is constantly berated by her family for having a poor knowledge of English. I think this movie does an amazing job in showing how difficult life can be when you understand some English, but still can't speak. When you travel abroad, negative experiences in communication can be really traumatic, which is clear to see in this movie. Have you ever seen this movie? It served as inspiration for me as a teacher to keep working hard, so I hope that it motivates you as well! You can find this movie by renting it on Amazon Prime or YouTube, but I believe you can find it on other platforms too. I really recommend watching it if you are looking for an interesting movie to watch!

Creepy-Crawlies (insects)
Did you know that, in English, we sometimes say "Creepy-Crawlies" to refer to insects? It's because they're creepy and, well, crawl around. I'm in the Lake District at the moment, and there are all sorts of crazy Creepy-Crawlies hanging around. Please look below for a video of a very pretty butterfly and a really cool-looking dragonfly. What is the weirdest/coolest creepy-crawly that you have ever seen? I would love to know!

Once I had seen a giant ant in my kitchen.
Available NOW! English in a Hurry: Lesson 5
Please find the link to the video here. Unintelligible English people. We've all had an experience where we think we understand English, and then get completely lost when we're listening to a natural conversation! For the final section of the "English in a hurry" series, please watch the video in this link. This video exemplifies just how confusing listening to English people can be. After you watch, let me know in the comments: DIDJA know that small words could be shortened in this way?
