I knew a joke was coming. That one never gets old. LOL
Why did you join Embrace Your Inner Weirdo and what do you expect out of it?
Please Help Me Help You. I am working on adding courses to the classroom and I want to make sure that what I add is what you want/need. This community started out as Yes You Can! in January. It went through two or three name changes in the following couple of months before landing on the one that I wanted in the first place. (I had to learn the lesson that you cannot give away your power to the so-called gurus, if you want to Embrace Your Inner Weirdo) My vision for the community is to encourage people to create a way of producing income that is in alignment with their Divine Design, or what I refer to as their Inner Weirdo. I went over the answers you all gave to the question about your biggest obstacle preventing you from living your dream life. Surprisingly, the top category was "Nothing." I have a favor to ask of those who said that, and you know who you are. Can you please share your secret? I am sure everyone else is eager to learn. Alternately, share your Skool Community Link in the comments so those who can relate to it can join it. (Fair warning: If you didn't say "nothing" and drop your link, I will delete the comment) The top three categories after that were: 1. Self-limiting beliefs 2. Money 3. Time So I am focusing on those. What will be really helpful to me is if you can provide more details about your obstacles so I can create bespoke solutions. I had dedicated Fridays as the "Ask Uncle Anything" day. I am going to change that to a Category of it's own, and just send out a reminder every Friday that it's there. I may be a little less active here for the next 10 days or so while I work on the back end of the community. If you have something urgent, drop me a DM. Let's make this the best community where people congregate to help each other live their Best Life!

I joined because it's fun to read what you share. I only expect to keep in touch, as a fellow weirdo. (and introvert.)

@George Benson I create puzzles you might find in a magazine. Thanks for asking! I don't have a YouTube channel. I burned out with my newsletter and retired it just last month. You can DM if you'd like to see the archive and more of an idea of what I do.

@George Benson ALthough I'm not good at spatial reasoning, I love the craft of wooden and metal puzzles (even the plastic ones, but the first two show real craftsmanship.) What types of wooden puzzles did your friend make?

I just had to click on donkeys! I don't mean it in a disparaging way: there is a wealth of literature and scientific research into DDD (Dull, Dangerous and Dirty). Humans domesticated animals, mastered technology, then backslid into territorial nonsense that short-circuited our advance to enlightenment. Whether it was Imperialism or "Lord of the Manor", territorial nonsense created artificial and unneeded societal strata. The haves were consumers, the have-nots were producers and the hard work was relegated to the producers as an obvious consequence. I submit that, in an enlightened society, over-consumption is a foreign concept. Each member takes what is needed, no more, no less. Society uses its advances intelligently and with forward-looking design, such as sustainable production. "Hard work" still exists, as humans have to build things. However, it is not a measure of success in an enlightened society. Success is a rising tide, lifting all boats, capsizing none.

@Rasheed Hooda Work that drains you is soul-sucking, too. That's 100 times worse than the physical ailments, in my opinion. I've had jobs where 8 hours ticked by, one excruciating minute at a time, and others where I had no sooner taken off my coat than it was time to stop for the day.
