Saturday - February 28, 2026 Today’s Scripture “A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.” Proverbs 18:24 (KJV) Today’s Reflection This short but powerful proverb gives us two life-changing truths about friendship. First, friendship is not automatic. If we want friends, we must “shew himself friendly.” That means taking the initiative, smiling first, listening more, reaching out instead of waiting to be reached. Kindness is the seed that grows real relationships. Second, and far more wonderful, there is a Friend who doesn’t need us to earn His loyalty. Jesus Christ is the Friend who sticks closer than a brother. When every other relationship fails, when people disappoint or walk away, He remains. He never leaves, never ghosts, never changes His mind about you. He proved it on the cross, laying down His life for you while you were still His enemy (Romans 5:8). Today, you are never friendless. Even if your phone is quiet and your circle feels small, the greatest Friend in the universe is right beside you. Application for Today 1. Show yourself friendly: Send a quick encouraging text, buy someone’s coffee, or simply smile and say hello to a stranger. 2. Lean on your ultimate Friend: When loneliness, anxiety, or hurt tries to creep in, pause and whisper, “Jesus, You are my closest Friend.” Let Him fill the empty places no person can reach. Today’s Prayer Lord Jesus, Thank You for being the Friend who sticks closer than a brother. Forgive me for the times I’ve waited for others to be friendly first. Help me today to show Your love in simple, practical ways. And when I feel alone, remind my heart that You are always near. I rest in Your unbreakable friendship. In Your precious name I pray, Amen.

Tuesday- February 17, 2026 Filled with Glory Today’s Scripture: Habakkuk 2:14 (KJV) “For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.” Today’s Reflection: In the midst of Habakkuk’s prophecies of judgment and turmoil, this verse stands as a beacon of hope. The prophet envisions a future where God’s glory isn’t hidden or confined but permeates every corner of the earth, just as the oceans blanket the seas in vast, undeniable abundance. This isn’t a mere wish, it’s a divine promise. Amidst our own world’s chaos, from personal struggles to global unrest, God’s ultimate plan is restoration and revelation. His glory, seen in creation, redemption, and His unchanging character, will one day be known by all. Until then, we glimpse it in moments of grace, answered prayers, and transformed lives. Today’s Application: Today, seek to live as a reflection of God’s glory. Share a kind word, extend forgiveness, or simply pause to appreciate His creation. Ask yourself, How can I contribute to filling my corner of the earth with the knowledge of His glory? Start small, perhaps by reading Scripture aloud with a friend or family member, or by journaling ways you’ve seen God’s hand at work this week. Today’s Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for the promise that Your glory will fill the earth. Help me to know You more deeply and to share that knowledge with others. In times of doubt, remind me of Your vast, covering presence, like the waters over the sea. May my life today reflect Your splendor. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Saturday February 14, 2026 Scripture Romans 12:10 (KJV) “Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;” Today’s Reflection: In this verse, the Apostle Paul calls us to a profound level of relational living within the body of Christ. “Kindly affectioned” speaks to a warm, familial tenderness, like the bond between siblings in a loving family. It’s not just about polite interactions but genuine, heartfelt care. Paired with “brotherly love,” it reminds us that our connections as believers should mirror the unbreakable ties of family, rooted in Christ’s love for us. The second part challenges us further: “in honour preferring one another.” This means actively putting others first, esteeming them higher than ourselves. In a world that often promotes self-promotion and competition, Paul urges humility and selflessness. Imagine how our communities, workplaces, and homes would transform if we made it a habit to celebrate others’ strengths, defer to their needs, and lift them up without seeking the spotlight. Today’s Application: Today, look for opportunities to prefer someone else in honor. It could be as simple as letting a colleague take credit for a team effort, listening attentively to a friend’s story without interrupting, or performing a small act of kindness for a family member. Ask yourself: How can I show brotherly love in my interactions? Let this verse guide your actions, fostering deeper relationships and reflecting God’s love to those around you. Today’s Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for the example of brotherly love shown through Your Son, Jesus. Help me to be kindly affectioned toward others, treating them with the warmth and honor they deserve as Your children. Teach me to prefer others above myself, putting aside pride and selfishness. May my life today be a testimony of Your transforming love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Monday February 9, 2026 Finding Delight in God’s Comfort Today’s Verse: Psalm 94:19 (KJV) “In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul.” Today’s Reflection In our fast-paced world, our minds often become a whirlwind of worries, plans, doubts, and distractions. The psalmist captures this inner chaos perfectly with the phrase “multitude of my thoughts.” Yet, amid that mental storm, God’s comforts, His promises, presence, and peace, break through like rays of sunlight, bringing delight to our souls. This verse reminds us that true joy isn’t found in silencing every anxious thought on our own, but in turning to the Lord who delights us with His unwavering love and reassurance. When life feels overwhelming, remember that God’s comfort is not just a temporary fix; it’s a soul-deep delight that sustains us through every season. Today’s Application Today, take a moment to pause and identify one “multitude” of thoughts that’s weighing on you, perhaps work stress, family concerns, or future uncertainties. Invite God’s comfort into that space by meditating on His Word or spending time in prayer. Let His truths replace the noise, and watch how your soul finds delight in His peace. Today’s Prayer Heavenly Father, in the midst of my swirling thoughts, I thank You for Your comforts that bring delight to my soul. Help me to lean on Your promises today, finding joy and peace in Your presence. Quiet my mind and fill it with Your truth. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Sunday February 8, 2026 Embracing Trials with Joy Scripture: James 1:2-3 (KJV) “My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.” Today’s Reflection: In a world that often equates joy with ease and comfort, James flips the script entirely. He urges us to “count it all joy” not in spite of trials, but because of them. These “divers temptations”, or various trials, aren’t random punishments; they’re opportunities for growth. Just as a muscle strengthens through resistance, our faith builds endurance through testing. Patience here isn’t passive waiting; it’s steadfast perseverance, the kind that shapes character and deepens our reliance on God. When life throws curveballs, remember: the trial isn’t the end of the story, it’s the forge where true strength is made. Today’s Application: Today, identify a current challenge in your life, maybe a stressful job, a strained relationship, or an unexpected setback. Instead of asking “Why me?” try shifting to “What can this teach me?” Lean into it with gratitude, knowing it’s refining your faith. Share this perspective with someone else facing their own trials; your encouragement could spark joy in them too. Today’s Prayer: Heavenly Father, help me to see trials not as burdens, but as blessings in disguise. Grant me the joy to endure and the wisdom to grow through every test of faith. Build in me the patience that leads to maturity, and remind me that You are with me in every storm. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
