@Ayako Emi Me too! 😵

1.Turn down: bright > dusky; Turn off: unplug/shut down 2.Bread, water, salad dressing? Jerry tries to give Laura as much as he can afford just to make her feel more comfortable and relaxed, but I think it's a pretty stupid idea. He should just order some fancy food instead! 3.Our organization: Men's world. 4.A man: a group of man, some men that have women. 5.The situation: in the dating world. 6.We have a lot of areas to cover: Being the best man involves many areas. Some men are good at attracting women, so they have no trouble finding a partner.

Questions: 1.Isn't so bad: It's not a compliment, right? Laura said Jerry's apartment isn't so bad, does it sound polite?? It sounds a bit arrogant. Since Jerry let her stay overnight and saved her money, shouldn’t she say something nice? 2.Their little - Everything they do is subtle. What's the meaning of "Their little"?? What is Jerry trying to say?

@Shane Peterson Oh no!😥

Question: What is the difference in pronunciation between "waiting it" and "wait in it" ? I wrote "waiting it" when I did the dictation even though I knew it's grammatically incorrect.
