Friday checkin
This is my first check-in. I’m excited to be here. I’m also extremely exhausted. My body’s exhausted. First question: did I get my workouts in? So far yes, I have my long run in the morning and I’m feeling good about it. Second question: was I able to talk during my runs? It’s gotten to where I can talk all the way up until about 40 minutes during my runs, and then I start focusing more on breath, so not quite there, but I’m getting there. I feel like I need to build my endurance a lot more. This week was extremely hectic for me. I have multiple kids all across the state of Texas that I visit, but this week I decided to spend the next year training for the Dallas ultra, and I feel like my mindset is extremely locked in. It is only week one, but but I think doing these check-ins is gonna help. one day this week I did miss Burpee’s due to schedule, but I have not miss any major workouts yet. I plan on going 20 minutes of Burpee’s on Sunday. Y’all are all in inspiration. Keep getting after it
