Python is the one and only. Very versatile, an unreached number of libraries and frameworks. Works well with Linux and also Web and Data Science. Maaaaaaybe something like Go if performance is really an issue - which its not 98% of the time anyway...

@Sarhan Patel no, I'm running a K3S cluster on Hetzner VMs. Its pretty cheap actually (setup with 1 LB, 1 master, 2 workers and some block storage costs less than 25 bucks a month).

Vim on the servers, vscode with vim plugin on client (i love vim motions!), jupyter notebooks for data engineering exploration. Experimenting with neovim sometimes.
