Thursday Evening Circle
Gentlemen, Our first Thursday evening circle is tomorrow 7-9pm at my place 1302 E St Clair St Please arrive a few minutes early to get settled in. We'll begin with a check in, followed by breathwork and great conversation. Let us know below if you plan to attend!

Book Club
Grand Rising Brothers!! I've added a book club in the classroom. So far it's a collection of books that have had a huge impact on my life. I'll keep adding to the list as I read more and remember books I've read in the past. Many of you have mentioned books and even the idea of an in person book club. This is a great way to get started! I'd love to add your suggestions. Either comment them below or send them to me directly.

"The Standard" July Challenge
Buy-In: $50 Prize Structure: - 50% of the pot goes to the winner(s) - Winner(s) collectively decide where the remaining 50% is donated - If multiple men complete every requirement, the winner's portion is split equally among them Challenge Rules Day 1-2: 48-Hour Fast - Only water, black coffee, unsweetened tea, and electrolytes & minerals permitted - Fast begins July 1st and ends July 3rd - Anyone with medical conditions should modify accordingly Daily Commitments (July 1-31) 1. Track Every Calorie - Log all food and drinks with calories - Use any tracking app or handwritten journal - Submit weekly screenshots/photos every Friday 2. Move Your Body - Minimum 10,000 steps daily - Steps must be tracked through a watch, phone, or fitness tracker 3. Feed Your Mind - Read 10 pages minimum from a growth-oriented book - Recommendations can be found in the classroom's book club - No audio books 4. Embrace Discomfort - End every shower with at least 60 seconds of cold water - Cold plunge also satisfies this requirement - Must be intentional and completed daily 5. Eliminate Social Media - No social media apps on your phone for the duration of the challenge. - Apps must be deleted by July 1st. - Includes Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, Snapchat, Threads, and similar platforms. - YouTube may be used only for educational content, podcasts, or training materials. - Business-related social media use must be done from a computer. Weekly Accountability - Submit your steps and calorie log every Friday on Skool - Check in consistently with your accountability partner* Rules 1. Three Strike Rule Mistakes happen. We're all human. Each missed commitment earns one strike. Upon receiving a third strike, you are no longer eligible to win the prize pool but encouraged to continue the challenge. The goal isn't perfection. The goal is ownership, honesty, and consistency. 2. No Banking or Borrowing Each commitment must be completed on the day it is assigned.

@Mark Lee I assure you, pacing around your house will get you the steps you need! I did mow lawn today, so a little higher than normal. I’m upping my steps to 20k in July.

Thursday June 25th
Man, This is a meeting week! Unfortunately, or fortunately, I will be in the forest of Rothberry MI jamming out to some of my favorite DJ's. In my absence, @Mike Rouzer will be taking the wheel! Currently the weather looks nice for meeting in the Cottage Homes Park at 7am 722 N Highland Ave Indianapolis, IN 46202 There is plenty of street parking along N Highland Ave. This week's topic is Self Talk. Please do your best to be there and ready to check in at 7 sharp! We understand some brother's may need to leave early to make it to work. Just let the group know beforehand to plan accordingly. Lastly, I would like to add meeting on Thursday evenings in the month of July! Beginning the 2nd we well meet from 7-9pm every other Thursday evening opposite the morning circles. We'll kick this off at my place, in the back yard but I would like to open this for rotation at anyone's property or suggested location. Just raise your hand to volunteer! Reach out with any questions and please let myself or Mike know if you plan to attend this week!

We’ll be discussing self-talk—the things we tell ourselves and how those thoughts impact our lives, relationships, and decisions we make. On a lunchtime walk in my neighborhood, I passed this. Couldn’t help but grab it because it had those four magical letters F-R-E-E. I figured someone in this group may need it to help them in with the July challenge for steps WHILE reading, so I lugged it back the last half mile of my walk. It’s in my newly cleaned garage, please let me know if anyone wants it before my wife thinks I just made room for more stuff.
