@Darren Poesel whew! Just one thing? I think it would be the fact that watches are tools as well timepieces and arm candy! They can: Have slide rules Measure speed Tell direction Predict moon phases The list goes on! I have also learned that you don’t have to pay a small fortune for a “good” watch The reason why some watches cost a small fortune. You can use a “good” watch as currency in some situations if needed. History! Lots and lots of history. The names of case shapes What water resistance really means. That I am a sucker for a beautiful face. Watch bands have come a loooonnng way in the past 40 years. And so much more! LOL.

Hamilton Field Khaki Lancaster exclusive!

I was told about this watch on Thursday but there were no pictures of it. This morning as I ate breakfast at a small Amish diner what would appear in the newspaper in front of me but the picture of this elusive watch. Of course I snapped a picture for all of you fine fine Gents! If I was close by this might be my first “quality” watch! @Dr Robert Hayhurst the timing is perfect…. Just sayin’ fate has a way of working in a man’s favor.
