But You showed love for people according to custom, and, lying in despair, You raised me up, so that I might eat and glorify Your power. And now enlighten the eyes of my mind, open my mouth so that I may learn Your words, understand Your commandments, do Your will, sing to You in the confession of my heart and praise Your most holy name: of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, now and ever and forever.
