Soon you’ll be at my level if you stay consistent. Always trust the process
5km all out attempt
Sorry it took so long bunch of delays due to shoes not coming on time and the weather. Ran a 19 flat so I hit my goal but could have saved a second to go under 19. Crazy how the goal was 19 30 for this run the new shoes were a crazy help. Also it shows 19 10 because i wasn't able to pause my phone on the run. I guess the goal is 18 30 next.

this is insane Neil, congrats on this an achievement that most people could never even reach and now you're going for 18:30, just wow! Keep it going, you're pace splits are great and you should be able to break sub 19 in no time. Now it's just a mental battle. Let's go Neil
Next run goal
Aiming for sub 19 30. Trying tomorrow wish me luck

Running goals
I wanna run a sub 19 minute 5km currently I have a 19 57 pb without a lot structured training. Started increasing my distance and am doing about 35 to 40 km per week any advice on how my runs should be structured?

@Neil Sahni if it's on grass just as long as its not to slippery or muddy, then it should still be preferable to run it in carbon plated shoes. if it is too hard to do with carbon shoes on the ground then obviously go for cross country shoes. i still suggest to train with carbon plated shoes as you can properly simulate running at a faster speed so that when i comes to the race then running faster should feel fine

This was a 10k i did in a very muddy cold windy day, and the track was through a forest and swamp… yes seriously a swamp and yet i came 2nd plce overrall with a sub 40 time with yet CARBON PLATED shoes, so i suggest for every one to 9/10 times to always race in them, as that is what they are designed for… SPEED.
