Day 5: What would make this even better?
Today is our last "formal" day of the kickstart (tomorrow and Sunday, you get to freestyle and revisit any of the movement videos that you liked from previous lessons). Before we slide into the weekend, I'd love to know: If I ran this sleep kickstart again, what would make it even better for you? - 🍵 A daily moment of calm - 🏃‍♀️ Moving my body gently - 📵 Less screen time at night - 🌿 Trusting simple over complicated

I like what you're offering. I think keeping it simple is better. If I think I have more things to do, then I risk not doing any of it at all! I think you have a really great balance here...
Day 3: What are you looking forward to?
It's day 3 y'all! By now you're probably starting to get into the flow of things so I'm curious: what are you enjoying the most as you go through this kickstart: the movement, the tea? Both? Drop your thoughts 👇

The tea. I love the whole ritual around it. One of my challenges is staying busy in the evenings until I’m dead tired then going straight to bed. I actually don’t struggle with sleep, but when I wake up in the morning I feel stressed and overwhelmed almost immediately. Although I’m sure the herbs in the tea play a role, I think what really helps me is winding down with my tea in the evening. I’m not stressed when I go to bed and I wake up feeling better.
Where to get herbs?
I remember seeing somewhere a recommendation on where to purchase herbs online. I can’t find it. Can you remind me?

@Germaine Satia Yes. Thank you!
I think you'll find this helpful
I found this very helpful little clip from one of my favorite herbalists, where they explain another aspect of how temperature changes tea. What they mentioned is new to me and once again highlights why I just love learning about + using herbs. Btw, I am working on our next tea "challenge" (details coming this weekend!!) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NM5GjUFXOgc&list=LL

Interesting. I would have assumed it would have the same effects, but what he says makes sense!
RIP Productivity
Happy Monday lovelies! So...this is something I often get frustrated about and want to get your feedback on. Some video titles I grabbed on YouTube: - You'll Understand Meditation Better Than 99% of People - How to Get Ahead of 99% of People - How to Avoid Regret Better Than 99% of People - How to Be Fitter Than 99% of People Without Ozempic As a writer, I can't deny that these nail many of the mechanics and rules of writing attention-grabbing titles/headlines. And at the same time, these types of titles are actually the least motivating for me because I really don't care what 99% of people are doing. I care about humanity, yes. But tying my decision to meditate, be fit, etc. to an unknown 99%? My goodness! 😊 👉 Let me know your thoughts: do you get motivated by that competitive approach or do you just want to master the art of figuring out what your body needs right now, in this moment (I'm not even going to say be better than you were yesterday because even that still has an element of perpetual competition with oneself). My thinking is that we can't do everything - including the things that are good for us - only because we're under threat (i.e. don't get caught being part of the 99%).

Nope, I'm definitely not motivated by that competitive approach. And I don't care about the 99% of people. I care about what I need in any given moment. Sure, there are times when I can't really tell what my body needs, or maybe I can tell my body wants to eat something cool and crispy, so I'll go searching the internet for cool and crispy food ideas. But then it's not coming from a sense of competition or relying on someone else's rules, it's still honoring my own body.
