I built my own Terminal
🌸💻 Meet BuildBestie — My Coding Bestie! What if your coding terminal didn't just help you build apps and AI agents, but actually taught you what you're doing along the way? That's why I'm building BuildBestie! 💜 A beautiful, beginner-friendly coding workspace featuring Lumi, your personal coding companion! ✨ Real, colorful coding terminal 💗 Step-by-step guidance 🧠 Code and error explanations 📂 Project file explorer 🎓 Interactive lessons and quizzes 💻 Three modes: Guide Me, Build With Me & I've Got This! Because I don't want to just copy and paste code. I want to understand what I'm building and why it works! BuildBestie is still in development, but she's coming along beautifully! After recording the build, I asked Claude to edit the video into an overview.

When Your Skills Finally Speak Louder Than Your Resume.
They didn’t see me then, but they see me now. Yesterday hit a little different for me. For the last four years, I’ve been trying to move into management. I applied. I interviewed. I kept trying. And I was turned down every single time. I watched people move into positions ahead of me who didn’t have the technology or computer skills I had worked so hard to build, and I’d be lying if I said that wasn’t discouraging. But instead of stopping, I kept learning. I started studying AI. I started building apps. I started solving problems I was seeing every day in transportation instead of waiting for somebody to give me permission or a title. Yesterday, I participated in our bus Road-e-o and had the opportunity to sit and talk with the CEO and Vice President of my busing company. We started talking about AI and what it could look like inside transportation. The VP asked me, “In what way?” So I showed them what I’ve been building. Bus Driver Tracker Pro. Route Coverage Command Center Bus Behavior Reporter. Knight Dispatcher. And they were impressed. Then someone told me something I won’t forget: “Make sure you protect what you’ve built.” But the moment that really caught me off guard came at the end of the event. The VP asked if I would be interested in another position with the company, in Safety. I don’t know where the conversation will lead yet. And I don’t know if that position will have anything to do with AI. But I do know this, For four years, I was trying to convince people I was capable of more. Somewhere along the way, I stopped waiting for someone to see my potential and started building proof of it. And maybe that’s the lesson. Sometimes the door doesn’t open when you keep knocking. Sometimes you have to build something so undeniable that people finally start asking you to walk through a different door. Transportation has been part of my story for years. Technology and AI are becoming part of my future. And yesterday, for the first time, it felt like those two paths might finally be meeting.

Are your GPT's still in the side panel?
Has anyone else opened ChatGPT and realised all the GPTs have randomly disappeared from the sidebar? No warning. No obvious explanation. Just gone. If you’ve built or used a lot of custom GPTs, here are the quickest ways I’ve found to recover the links: 1. Go to Explore GPTs Check the GPTs area and look for anything like: My GPTs Created by me Manage For GPTs you built, open each one, go to Share, and copy the link. 2. Search your browser history This is probably the fastest workaround. Search your browser history for: chatgpt.com/g/g- or chat.openai.com/g/g- Most custom GPT links follow that pattern. 3. Search your ChatGPT conversations Search for GPT names you remember using, for example: Sage Shay Pixi Visionary Coach Planner When you open an old GPT conversation, the GPT name may still show at the top, and you may be able to get back to the GPT from there. Click the arrow next to the name, and select copy link. 4. Search your own docs, emails, websites, Skool posts, Notion, Canva, etc. Anywhere you may have pasted a GPT link before, search: chatgpt.com/g This is especially useful if you’ve shared GPTs inside resources, lead magnets, templates, product pages, or onboarding posts. 5. Try typing @ inside a normal ChatGPT chat Sometimes typing @ brings up GPTs you’ve recently used, even if they are missing from the sidebar. The annoying part? I don’t think there is currently a clean “export all my GPT links” button. So the best recovery flow seems to be: Browser history first Then My GPTs / Manage Then ChatGPT search Then old docs, emails, Notion, Skool, Canva, and website pages If you rely on custom GPTs for your workflow, this is also your reminder to keep a simple GPT link vault somewhere outside ChatGPT. A Notion page, Google Doc, Airtable, browser bookmarks, or even a basic notes app list is better than trusting the sidebar to behave forever.
