@April Warren-Grice Now they are not perfect. But they were soft and really good. I put melted butter on top and sprinkled garlic powder on them.

@April Warren-Grice I have never heard of carrot hot dogs! Do share more.
Happy Friday!
What was one win for you this week? What bought you joy this week? My win was going live yesterday. My reminder is that you don't have to be great to start, but you do have to start to be great. Mu joy was being with the horses. It really is therapeutic. What about you? Write your answers in the comments.

Yay to you for going live!!! That is awesome! You won’t catch me doing that. LOL. I prefer behind the scenes. I had a lot of joys this week. Getting my vegetables planted in my raised garden bed tops all the joy because I made time to finally get that done. I also get to watch the progress from my office window. I also pulled out my craft projects to start getting ready for Christmas.
What keeps you going when nobody is watching?
Hey Good People, The last week has been about rest, recovery, and giving myself grace while getting back on my feet. One thing I've learned is that when you pause, life doesn't. The emails keep coming. The bills still show up. Family still needs you. Deadlines keep moving. Yesterday, as I eased back into my rhythm, I interviewed Dr. Ron Rochon, President of California State University Fullerton. One thing he said stayed with me: Education creates transformation, exposure, and opportunities to serve. But what really struck me was his reminder that our work matters even when we can't immediately see the impact. Sometimes we plant seeds we'll never personally watch grow. That reminder was timely for me because there are moments when the work feels heavy, progress feels slow, or life requires us to pause. Yet the calling remains. Finish this sentence in the comments: The work I'm called to do is __________. If you'd like to hear the full conversation and some powerful insights about transformation, exposure, service, and leadership, watch the interview attached.

@Ryan Hickman I completely agree with you. I have never known what I’m called to do. My answer changes with the day or week or what time of the day it is. Right now I feel that I am called to love my family especially my kiddos at this time in my life. I envy those who know what their calling is. I’m not sure if that will ever be me, but I m still listening and searching.
