Self portrait

Hello everyone! I hope you're all finding a way to be creative today! I started this last night (and stayed up way too late working on it) and it's the first self portrait that I've ever made. It's not finished but I am very happy with it so far. If anyone has made one of themselves, whether realism or abstract, please post below. I would love to see them. If you've never made one, give it a try! Who knows you better than you?

Ah, and this is from last year. It’s called A Year of Moments - Returning to Myself. I drew a little piece every day in 2025 and put them together on Aluminium Dibond. When I was finished, I had a portrait of myself reflecting every single day of 2025, a bit like a diary.

@Gina DeMarco Thank you ☺️. It was the plan all along. In the end, I got so used to it and enjoyed it so much - thinking about what made each day special - that I felt like something was missing when the project was finished. Now I don’t draw every day anymore, but I do write a line about each day in a little book 😊.
